    Cant configure addon to work. Facing errors on configure screen. Support couldn't help me to fix it.

    The email notification offers great flexibility in the information that is sent and the embedded one-step approval that is incorporated into the email message. Better still if the end-user want to see the entire request/attachment(s) they can follow the traditional method of approving - and even incorporate an Electronic Signature as a separate plugin from this vendor.

    Documentation is limited essentially showing what is obvious in the interface. Unable to get the email component to work. My guess is that I'm not doing something basic that is not outlined in the User or Administrator documentation. Submitted support issue twice with no response after a week an a half. The first issue doesn't show in my profile even though I received an email notification.

    Emails requires SMTP server to be enabled in JIRA. We added warning recently if SMTP is not set.

    App dont work, after change some config, all pages disappear, the documentation is useless and now isn't free.

    This add-on is must have who wish to have APPROVALS feature in the JIRA Software, giving 3 stars because this add-on doesn't show who approves the request in the HISTORY LOG, it does have it's own history section but it would be advantageous to have the log in HISTORY tab. This is the only reason many of my colleagues don't prefer this add-on.

    This add-on barely works. Didn't seem too hard to figure out how it should work (although it isn't clear up front). However, it doesn't work for everyone. Some of the people this add-on refuses to notify are fully licensed, so that isn't the source of the problem. I tried asking their support for help, with long drawn out details of everything I have tried. So far they have gotten back to me with many off topic nonsensical responses. Including quite a few that make it look like they have no idea at all how this works. They have directly told me that the add-on doesn't do something, that I can get screenshots showing it most certainly does in under ten minutes. I don't know if they are just ignorant of their own product or are willing to lie to their customers (we paid for this add-on too before it was free and our support doesn't end for a few months, not that that seems to matter to them). Either way, I don't feel much confidence in this company currently.

    This is a great approval plugin especially for the cost - Free! The only reason I gave it a 3 instead of a 4 is you can't control the conditions for deny's. 1 deny will reject the ticket. Please add some flexibility and I'll bump this to a 4 :D

    I tried this addon recently and I am very satisfied. The e-mail sent could be cusomized sufficiently, I could solve the problem of sending approval request for non-Jira users without Service Desks and also I was very satisfied with the help desk. They helped me a lot to figure things out - as I am not an IT person. What I could strongly advise is to be able to create multiple e-mail templates to use in different projects. Now only one e-mail template can be created. Thanks

    How does Data Center app pricing work?

    Data Center apps are sold as an annual subscription. You are eligible for support and version updates as long as your subscription is active.

    If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

    How do I determine my Data Center pricing?

    Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. For Jira 7.0 or later, the app tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed Jira products on your instance. For example, if you're running Jira Software (500 users) and Jira Service Management (25 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 500-user tier for apps. For versions of Jira prior to 7.0, the app tier should match the licensed user tier for Jira. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Jira license, the two licenses should match exactly. Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Management, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for the license tier still apply.

    Installation

    1. Log into your Jira instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
    3. Click Find new apps or Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
    4. Locate Approvals – Advanced Issue Acceptance via search. Results include app versions compatible with your Jira instance.
    5. Click Install to download and install your app.
    6. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
