Very good and timely support. They added a feature to the plugin within days to address the issue we had. We are quite happy with the experience.

We are using Toggl extensively at Skychute, and of course, we rely on this plugin a lot! It saves us a lot of time when it comes to correctly track the time we spend in Jira, everything is synced automatically between Toggl and Jira like a charm! Now, today you expect all software to work perfectly, so many people including myself won't even leave a review if everything is good. Recently I've met a special edge case with this plugin and submitted a support ticket. To my amazement, the Lizard Brain team was able to roll out an update to the plugin that improved my use-case and made my time tracking even more efficient and painless. I mean, seriously 48 hours! That's fantastic turnaround time and it shows that there is a great cohesive team behind this plugin and their other products must be just as great!

The app is just excellent, does what is required without any extra overhead. The provided support is another story - deluxe is probably too short to describe the excellent support level we received. We had a special need to tag our time entries using epic names. They implemented features in a blink of an eye. That was really impressive. The app worse every penny we are paying for it.

Very comfortable for those who find it easier to use Toggl for time logging, instead of adding everything manually to JIRA. I would highlight the level of support they provide, had an edge case issue I reported that was solved for the next day, really impressive.

Toggl is the simplest way to track time, our team has been using this App with Jira (server). A button appears in each Jira issue, to record time, so it takes a second to turn it on/off. You can easily tell that how much time you spent on an issue/ticket/card. Toggl updates consistently with each issue/ticket/card so you can work on only one task at a time. Using Toggl takes discipline, but this App helps put Toggl inside Jira.

As a consulting business, we need to record our effort against clients projects and tasks. Toggl Integration for Jira helps us do exactly that. We create a Jira Project for every new client and we configure that client in Toggl. The big red button helps the start and stop the timer for their work. Really happy with this app and have recommended to a few others.

Nice tool! Suggestion: hope this tool can recognize toggl's Tasks(Tasks are a Starter plan feature). The Task name (we can add JIRA issue key in task name) is the key to sync with JIRA issues. So that we can easy to add different description to each work log in JIRA, and there's no JIRA ISSUE KEY words in work log description. https://support.toggl.com/en/articles/2220738-tasks If we can have this function this tool will be great! I will change my review to full stars if you think this is a good idea. :) Thank you! ------------------ Support is great! My suggestion has been done already, it works well. Thank you very much! I have changed my rating already. :)

Thanks guys for the quick support and fixing the problem. Suggestion: It would be helpful if we can delete item from toggle sync since sometimes there are duplicates and then we don't want to sync that. :)

For some reason it doesn` sync 3 weeks old entries although they are visible in Toggl. Any clues why?

    Lizard Brain UG

    Hey Dejan,

thanks for contacting me. Regarding your question — we rely on standard Toggl API response, which provides only 2-3 weeks of recent entries. We are currently working on improving this functionality so it would be possible to request older entries.

Dejan, please note that you could always contact me directly vit.zurian@lizardbrain.rocks

Plugin works great for us and make us use Toggl to track time and at the same time have full control of each issue in JIRA with estimated time and acctual time. Sync runs fast, and when JIRA issue is correct in Toggl, match is allways found and synced without having to manualy connect hours to issues. Fast support if any issues, and writer of plugin also added new features on our request to handle different workspaces in Toggl better. This is worth trying to get the maximum out of the benefits of both JIRA and Toggl

Very useful tool! We were using Toggl before the Jira plugin was available. Now it is much easier for our team to track their time on the right project with the correct description. The developer is very responsive to our requests and has helped us a lot with some features we needed. There are still some things which need to be refined (e.g. Toggl synch page could use some bulk actions like selecting multiple items and add them at once or general basic table features like sorting etc.) but I am sure that the Toggl DEV team is already behind that.

My team and I have been using this plugin for about 5 months now and I absolutely love it. It makes tracking our time a very painless process and has led to a 23% improvement in my teams billing rates because they are no longer missing the little 5min fixes that tend to get lost when they have to go into multiple systems. This plugin easily pays for itself every month. Besides the plugin itself I have to mention how awesome the developer on this plugin is. Since starting to use this we have made 2 fairly complicated requests to the developer for new feature development. They have been extremely responsive to us and welcoming of our ideas. In both cases the features were developed and deployed in about a week. I have never had such great customer service from a plugin developer. You guys have won a customer for life.

    Pricing FAQ

How does cloud app pricing work?

Cloud apps are sold as a monthly or annual subscription. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for apps based on the number of users in your instance.

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my cloud pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. Jira Cloud apps are priced based on the maximum users of the Jira products on your instance. For example, if you have Jira Software (50 users) and Jira Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, you pay the 50-user price for apps.Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Desk, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for licensing across maximum users still apply.

The pricing structure for cloud apps is as follows:

    • Monthly subscriptions with up to 10 Atlassian product users are billed at a flat rate price.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 10 users are billed per user, starting at the first user.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 100 users are billed per user. The table above provides example pricing at various user levels.

Annual subscriptions may offer a discount depending on the number of users purchased.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for cloud apps?

Academic, community and open source licenses are not available for cloud apps.

Can I extend my free trial?

For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app.

    Pricing FAQ

How does server app pricing work?

Server products and apps are hosted on your servers. This app is sold as a perpetual license, and the purchase price includes 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your Atlassian product and app licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. For Jira 7.0 or later, the app tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed Jira products on your instance. For example, if you're running Jira Software (500 users) and Jira Service Desk (25 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 500-user tier for apps. For versions of Jira prior to 7.0, the app tier should match the licensed user tier for Jira. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Jira license, the two licenses should match exactly. Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Desk, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for the license tier still apply.

Can I install this app in a Data Center product?

This app does not have a Data Center approved version. Only apps meeting a set of performance requirements for large, clustered environments are approved for Data Center.

However, while server apps are built for single-server deployments, many customers successfully install them in Data Center products. If you're using a Data Center product, Atlassian recommends you contact the vendor to determine compatibility at scale.

Learn more about Data Center approved apps

What type of license do I need if I'm using this app in a Data Center product?

Because this app does not have a Data Center approved version, you should purchase a Server license if you decide to install this app in a Data Center product.

Learn more about Data Center licensing

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for server apps?

For server apps, academic licenses are available at a 50% discount if you have an academic license for your Atlassian product.

Community and open-source licenses are available for server apps. Learn more about community and open source licenses.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server apps, you can extend your app trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the app listing in UPM from your Atlassian product, and you're all set.

How can I buy apps for my legacy Jira Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy Jira Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy app pricing is no longer available. You have two options for app purchasing:

    • Purchase the app at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your Jira or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the app at the same tier.
