Label Manager for Jira

The app requires access to read issue information that is irrelevant for label management (eg: requires reading attachments!). I personally cannot accept neither recommend this access level. Therefore, I refused to accept and uninstalled the app. If you are OK with this, it seems to be a good option for label management.

  • View fields.
  • View user groups.
  • View issue details.
  • View labels.
  • View the profile details for the currently logged-in user.
  • View project properties.
  • Save custom field contextual configurations.
  • Create and update issues.
  • Create and update project properties.

  We actually went for the granular permission scopes option, excactly because of your concern. The app should only be allowed to access what is necessary for the apps functionality.
