    Backbone is an amazing tool! Very easy to use. It helped me sync multiple projects from Jira Server to Jira Cloud in a matter of days! Support team is outstanding. Very responsive. Special shout out to Liset who helped me with several questions I had about the migration process. I'd recommend this tool to anyone looking to migrate from Server to Cloud.

    The setup is kinda easy compared to the competitors, but the interface became unresponsive in many cases, and some features that should work out-of-the-box simply don't, steps to configure are friendly, but I end up having a bad time when I wanted to restart the sync process because I struggled to do it right the first time, since then it was a nightmare.

    We had an issue in our cloud infrastructure that made Backbone unresponsive on some instances - and yours was obviously affected. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Since then we have been looking into the problem to ensure that Backbone is running smoothly.

    We would be grateful if you let us know (via support@k15t.com) what features you expected to work out of the box, but did not.

    We used this app for several months, syncing selected tickets with our external suppliers. As we had an in-house dev team as well as an external team, we were able to sync tickets with them only based on certain label (tag) values, which worked perfectly. This meant that in-house work did not get synced. Overall, we found the system worked well with no issues. I'll definitely use this app again should I need to sync Jira instances.

    This apps helps a lot when trying to replicate issues from one instance to another or used as part of a workflow from jira service desk to jira is the instances are separated. Easy to use and for the most part it works painlessly. Very useful in cases where issues need to be synced.

    Great add-on with a reliable and fast support team. We had a major issue after an update. The K15t support team helped us solving this issue with very short response times. They made us feel that we were in good hands and offered a fast and easy understandable solution for our problem. They offered screen sharing and step by step instructions to get everything back to a normal state. Keep up the good work! There are definitely some things to improve regarding the functionality of Backbone Issue Sync. For example: - Synchronize Issue Links - Notify administrators (or defined users) when there is an error - Do not show panel when there is no integration configured

    Hi Daphnis,

    it's been a while since you posted this review, but I still want to say thank you.And also point out that we released a new Backbone version (3.8.0) yesterday which solved the last one of your points. So I'm happy to tell you that you can synchronize issue links now as well as getting notified and also the panel is not shown by default in projects where Backbone is not configured.

    The best add-on at Atlassian for syncing Jira instances. After much research and evaluation I decided to give this a try, and I am so glad I did, since I found a permanent solution for our needs. There were a few glitches setting this up initially, but with the team responding so quickly, I got past them pretty fast, only to realize it does exactly what I wanted. I have a request in for a feature and looks like it is set up for release this sprint. All in all, a very good backbone team.

    Hello! We are service development company and use own Jira, but some of our customers want to use they own Jira. In this case - we need to copy all data from customer's Jira into own. The question is: if we have to install this plugin into both - own and customer's Jira servers for copying FROM external TO own Jira only? Because it can be an issue... we looking for a way to install a sync solution into own Jira only.

    How does cloud app pricing work?

    Cloud apps are sold as a monthly or annual subscription. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

    When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for apps based on the number of users in your instance.

    If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

    How do I determine my cloud pricing?

    Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. Jira Cloud apps are priced based on the maximum users of the Jira products on your instance. For example, if you have Jira Software (50 users) and Jira Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, you pay the 50-user price for apps.Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Desk, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for licensing across maximum users still apply.

    The pricing structure for cloud apps is as follows:

    • Monthly subscriptions with up to 10 Atlassian product users are billed at a flat rate price.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 10 users are billed per user, starting at the first user.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 100 users are billed per user. The table above provides example pricing at various user levels.

    Annual subscriptions may offer a discount depending on the number of users purchased.

    Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for cloud apps?

    Academic, community and open source licenses are not available for cloud apps.

    Can I extend my free trial?

    For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app.
