BigPicture Enterprise - Strategic Management for Jira

one of the most impenetrable user interfaces I've come across. I've spent 3 hours trying to set it up and still haven't a clue how to do basic things like link existing sprints to the timeline and have story points map to time allocation. There are guides online but their directions aren't applicable to front end I have in Big Gantt so effectively useless

  Sorry the first hours with the app were this rough. Both things you were hunting for are there, so let us point you at the exact pages.

  Existing sprints can be added to the timeline through the box's Scope definition and shown as tasks, covered in Additional tasks based on sprints, versions, etc. For story points driving time allocation, enable the Story Points effort mode, which spreads each task's estimate evenly over its duration: Story points (Effort mode).

Very good tool, we are using Jira Server, when do you think we can have the metrics function enabled for Jira Server since currently only the cloud version supports it.

  Hi Yuanzaiyu. Metrics is now a BigPicture Enterprise for Jira Server feature. You can use scripts on your database and populate fields using Rest API or manually.

  What's more, we expect the 'regular' BigPicture 7.5 release in several months. It will have developed reporting features, compared to the current BigPicture 7.
