      Hi Eli,

You upgraded to Jira 11 and Rich Filters won't install, and that's a blocker that brings your dashboards to a standstill. A Jira 11 Data Center build is available, so you're covered. Because Data Center apps are pinned to the Jira platform they run on, Jira 11 has its own build separate from the Jira 10 download.

You'll find it on the app's version history: install the release marked for Jira 11 and it should sit cleanly on your upgraded instance.

If anything still gets in the way after that, open a ticket at our support portal and we'll work through your setup with you.

Rich Filters by Appfire is an excellent app for filtering specific areas and data sets in Jira Service Management. What really stands out is the outstanding support: whenever issues arise, the Appfire team responds quickly, professionally, and with a high level of expertise. Solutions and bug fixes are often provided within just a few hours, which is truly impressive. Overall, a very reliable app that delivers exactly what it promises—highly recommended. Thanks to the Appfire team for the great work!

      Hi Alexander,

It means a lot that Rich Filters holds up for filtering specific areas and data sets in your Jira Service Management, that kind of precise, on-the-fly slicing is where the app earns its place on a busy dashboard.

Good to hear the team has been quick and sharp when questions came up; I'll pass along that the few-hours turnaround and bug fixes landed well. If you ever want to push your filtered dashboards further, the team over at our support portal is always glad to trade ideas.

      Cheers,

On Datacenter this app was essential for us, due to its dynamic filtering on dashboards without those standard Jira static filters, that you must use in Gadgets. This makes the basic issue search/filtering largely obsolete. However in Jira Cloud we encountered massive performance issues with this app as we use large filters, containing thousands of tickets in our company all over the world as base filters for our team dashboards - like in DC. Due to Atlassians Cloud limitations be aware of massive performance issues, if you are doing the same and therefore I cannot really recommend this app anylonger. Support experience has always been on top and maybe Atlassian will improve their backend capabilities in the future (they probably wont).

      Hi Christoph,

Thank you for being a long-time user and for the shout-out to our support team! It’s great to hear how essential Rich Filters was for your Data Center workflow. We completely understand the frustration when the dynamic, real-time filtering you rely on hits a wall due to the architectural differences between environments, especially when managing high-volume data across global teams.

Transitioning large-scale dashboards to Cloud can be challenging because the data retrieval process works differently than on-premise. While we work closely with Atlassian to optimize performance within current platform constraints, we would love to take a closer look at your specific base filters. Often, there are alternative JQL structures or configuration "quick wins" we can suggest to help reduce load times without sacrificing your data depth.

Please reach out to us at our support portal so we can investigate your site-specific performance. We’d value the chance to help you get that "essential" feeling back on Cloud.

      Cheers,
