Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards

Very powerful app in terms of dynamic dashboard filtering and configuration. A lot of things are customizable, column names, custom smart filters, including multiple different gadgets and connecting everything to one editor. Improvement recommendation: I would like to be able to activate quick filters on the control gadget with OR condition in between. Currently it works as AND condition, so clicking on multiple predefined filters almost always returns no results. But even with this "limitation" if we can call it that way, this is really very good add-on and worth every cent. I wouldn't be doing any new implementation for my customers without this add-on :)

  Thanks for such a detailed write-up, it means even more coming from someone who rolls the app out for their customers. Custom smart filters and smart columns are where the deeper configuration lives, and the guide to using them on your dashboards shows more of what they can do.

  The OR option between quick filters on the controller gadget is a well-argued request, and I'm handing it to the product folks. Our support portal can hold the request against your account too, then we follow up with you as soon as there's something to tell.

** Edit - they released a Jira11 version and it works great! ** What about a Jira 11 compatible version? we've upgraded to J11 and now we can't install rich filter

  You upgraded to Jira 11 and Rich Filters won't install, and that's a blocker that brings your dashboards to a standstill. A Jira 11 Data Center build is available, so you're covered. Because Data Center apps are pinned to the Jira platform they run on, Jira 11 has its own build separate from the Jira 10 download.

  You'll find it on the app's version history: install the release marked for Jira 11 and it should sit cleanly on your upgraded instance.

  If anything still gets in the way after that, open a ticket at our support portal and we'll work through your setup with you.

On Datacenter this app was essential for us, due to its dynamic filtering on dashboards without those standard Jira static filters, that you must use in Gadgets. This makes the basic issue search/filtering largely obsolete. However in Jira Cloud we encountered massive performance issues with this app as we use large filters, containing thousands of tickets in our company all over the world as base filters for our team dashboards - like in DC. Due to Atlassians Cloud limitations be aware of massive performance issues, if you are doing the same and therefore I cannot really recommend this app anylonger. Support experience has always been on top and maybe Atlassian will improve their backend capabilities in the future (they probably wont).
