Assets Discovery is an agentless network scanner for IP-enabled hosts and devices. The collected data is imported into Jira Service Management’s asset and configuration management database.
Patterns determine what can be discovered and what data is collected. Out-of-the-box, you can discover assets like:
- Linux and Unix servers
- Windows servers
- Virtual machines
- Desktop and laptop computers
- Routers, switches, and load balancers
- Printers
- and much more
Data collected includes CPU, RAM, OSs, file systems, network interfaces, installed applications and their versions, and more. Create your own patterns to discover more niche devices.
App pricing and availability
Jira Service Management (Cloud Premium, Cloud Enterprise, and Data Center) subscriptions include access to Assets Discovery at no additional cost. For Server customers, if you have an existing license for one of these apps, you can continue to renew support and maintenance until the end of support (Feb 15, 2024 PT). Read more here.

We're excited to present Assets Discovery 7.0.5
You can now revoke the unique token generated by the Discovery Agent. The token will be removed from the Discovery storage, and you'll need to use a pairing token (Agent Token) to re-establish communication with the Discovery. More about revoking tokens
