    MORE BUTTONS!

    • PR-Booster puts rebase, squash, amend, revert, and cherry-pick buttons directly into Bitbucket's web UI. Absolute must for shops with a rebase or squash workflow, as well as shops that require valid Jira references in commit messages.

    IMPROVED CODE QUALITY!

    • Prevent unreviewed code from hitting master via Bitbucket's "piggybacking" approval loophole.
    • Make Bitbucket less trusting: instead of dropping "Needs Work" status the moment a new commit hits the branch, have the negative reviewer recheck the work.

    BOOST PRODUCTIVITY!

    • This add-on also includes our innovative Build Status Propagation feature. Rebases, squashes, amends, and sync-merges typically trigger CI builds, even though no code has changed. Build Status Propagation prevents such builds from slowing down teams.

Due to the size of our repo, initial versions did not work. But after the developer made contact with me, the issue has been resolved. Everything now works as expected. A much needed addition to our Git workflow!

I worked as a Git Mater in my current company. I can say, this plugin really makes my lives much happier. This is an awesome plugin. We have been using it since Sylvie published it first time. No issues so far and commit graph is such a must tool for me, I can easily navigate to any branch and see the full history. Sylvie is really responsiv,, he recently took our new feature task and give us the much needed feature so fast. Overall, really happy using this plugin.

Awesome add-on, specially the commit graph. It shows you the branches in a nice way so you can identify them quickly. Recommended!

The graph is the best graph I've seen for Git. I haven't found any cases where it displays an incorrect graph. Also it's more than just a graphing tool. The plugin also includes several other features. It can be used to prevent fox-trot merges and the latest version allows you to rebase, squash or amend a commit directly on the server. The squash feature on the server is nice because you can push your code, get it reviewed, push a commit that addresses review comments, reviewers can see just the changes between the original commit(s) and the update. Then prior to merge you can squash it all together for a nice clean history. Stash retains the original comments and commits so you still have the history of how the code changed in the PR but your Git history is clean. And it works with forks as well. Customer support has also been very good with issues reported (I had some problems with forks) fixed in a timely manner.

I realize the reviews below don't make much sense anymore because the app has evolved over the last year. FYI: this app started out in 2016 as a commit graph and a foxtrot hook. In 2017 and 2018 the app slowly evolved into collection of pull-request enhancements (Rebase, Squash, Amend, Cherry-Pick, Revert, Build-Status Propagation, Approval Withdrawal, etc). In late 2018 we decided to spin out the commit graphs and hooks into separate free apps (look for "Commit Graph" and "Control Freak" apps). We would greatly appreciate reviews from users that pertain to the app's latest incarnation (pull-request enhancements). If you are currently using this app in your company to do Squashes, Amends, Cherry-Picks, Reverts, Build-Status Propagation, Approval Retraction, or other parts of its current feature set, please leave a review!

Got immediate feedback for some minor, but still inconvenient problem - and it was quickly improved. That is what I call good customer support! Nice!

    Pricing FAQ

How does server app pricing work?

Server products and apps are hosted on your servers. This app is sold as a perpetual license, and the purchase price includes 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your Atlassian product and app licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. The app tier should match the licensed user tier of the Atlassian product. For example, if you have a Confluence license for 500 users, you should purchase the 500-user tier for apps. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Atlassian product license, the two licenses should match exactly.

Can I install this app in a Data Center product?

This app does not have a a Data Center approved version. Only apps meeting a set of performance requirements for large, clustered environments are approved for Data Center.

However, while server apps are built for single-server deployments, many customers successfully install them in Data Center products. If you're using a Data Center product, Atlassian recommends you contact the vendor to determine compatibility at scale.

What type of license do I need if I'm using this app in a Data Center product?

Because this app does not have a Data Center approved version, you should purchase a Server license if you decide to install this app in a Data Center product.

Learn more about Data Center licensing

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for server apps?

For server apps, academic licenses are available at a 50% discount if you have an academic license for your Atlassian product.

Community and open-source licenses are available for server apps. Learn more about community and open source licenses.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server apps, you can extend your app trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the app listing in UPM from your Atlassian product, and you're all set.

How can I buy apps for my legacy Jira Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy Jira Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy app pricing is no longer available. You have two options for app purchasing:

    • Purchase the app at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your Jira or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the app at the same tier.

    Versions

    Version 2018.11.14 Bitbucket Server 4.0.0 - 5.15.1 Released 2018-11-14

    Summary

Improved unapprove and needs-work retention logic

    Details

Three fixes in this release, and one troubleshooting enhancement:

    • Issue #55 - approvals were not being properly dropped if commits hit the source branch while the pull-request was declined. Approvals would stay in place after the pull-request was reopened.
    • "Needs Work" reviews were getting dropped when they shouldn't be in some cases.
    • Also, with this release we've back-ported the "needs work" retention and auto-unapprove functionality to work with Bitbucket 4.x.

    The troubleshooting enhancement:

    • All PR-Booster config pages (including at the repo and project levels) now include a button for refreshing the temporary Bit-Booster clones. This can be helpful in the rare situation where the clone gets corrupted.

    Installation
