Hi, looks good and useful but it where nice if you can add the feature that also for registered user (not only for anonymous user) different permission-levels are possible. Or special textfields are only visible for groups/users.

    Hi Eddie,

Thank you very much for you feedback. We really appreciate that.

I just put your feature request to our backlog. The next release is currently in the testing phase and will be shipped very soon. Permission levels on field basis is a tough cookie but we will have a look at it. Thanks.

Looks ideal but unfortunately doesn't allow hiding of the contact list from registered users, so not suitable if the Confluence is accessed by external parties. Would be great if this extra level of security granularity can be added.

Thank you very much for your appreciation. We are currently evaluating whether we will be able to incorporate this feature into the next release. As the release planning is already finished, it might be too late for this release... we would then consider it for the next release.

great add-on! Are there plans in the near future for adding the functionality to add a custom profile picture on each contact?

    Philipp Eckelmann

    Hello Lukas,

Thank you so much for your positive feedback. We are currently working on the next release which will include Custom Fields and some additional improvements... and for sure some minor fixes.

Profile pictures are (of cause) on our list. We plan to have them not in this release but in the next.

Please don't hesitate to contact us directly via support@confluence-crm-contact-list.com.

    Best regards,Philipp

Useful and convenient solution for keeping CRM contacts in Confluence for their quick accessibility and use. Now we can keep the list of business contact or refer to the required persons while working on Confluence pages. The list of pages with contact mentions shows all references to the particular contact, so the probability of losing some essential information in Confluence is quite low. Some functions are missing, but nevertheless add-on's functionality will cover most cases of yours.

Very useful and easy to use plugin. Two minus points: -I can't create groups (e.g. customers, suppliers,...) -VCF files (Outlook business cards) cannot be imported and exported

Hi Urs. Thank you for your review. We appreciate your rating as well :-)

    • Can you please explain to us (support@confluence-crm-contact-list.com), what you want to achieve with "groups"? We might have a solution or put it to our backlog.
    • VCF files are already on our list. Until now, we prioritized this feature rather low. We will reconsider this prioritization. Thanks.

Hi Excellent - more like an address book, but you can use in more ways. One question though, can you restrict confluence users or anonymous users to view only certain companies? Thank you in advance With regards

    Philipp Eckelmann

    Hi Tomescu,

Thank you for your review. At the moment, we don't have a restriction management for contacts implemented. But it is on our list of features. We are continuously developing the add-on.

Please don't hesitate to contact us for further questions.

    Best regardsPhilipp

This plugin has really great potential. To see the "Add New Contact" button, go to the backend to "Confluence administration" and go the "Contact List" page (with in the menu on the left side) or [Confluence URL]/plugins/crmcontactlist/settings.action. There, you will be able to specify which users are allowed to "Manage" contacts, contact groups and companies. In order to create a new contact, you adjust these settings. Thank you so much for making this useful addition.

    Pricing FAQ

How does server app pricing work?

Server products and apps are hosted on your servers. This app is sold as a perpetual license, and the purchase price includes 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your Atlassian product and app licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. The app tier should match the licensed user tier of the Atlassian product. For example, if you have a Confluence license for 500 users, you should purchase the 500-user tier for apps. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Atlassian product license, the two licenses should match exactly.

Can I install this app in a Data Center product?

This app does not have a a Data Center approved version. Only apps meeting a set of performance requirements for large, clustered environments are approved for Data Center.

However, while server apps are built for single-server deployments, many customers successfully install them in Data Center products. If you're using a Data Center product, Atlassian recommends you contact the vendor to determine compatibility at scale.

Learn more about Data Center approved apps

What type of license do I need if I'm using this app in a Data Center product?

Because this app does not have a Data Center approved version, you should purchase a Server license if you decide to install this app in a Data Center product.

Learn more about Data Center licensing

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for server apps?

For server apps, academic licenses are available at a 50% discount if you have an academic license for your Atlassian product.

Community and open-source licenses are available for server apps. Learn more about community and open source licenses.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server apps, you can extend your app trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the app listing in UPM from your Atlassian product, and you're all set.

How can I buy apps for my legacy Jira Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy Jira Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy app pricing is no longer available. You have two options for app purchasing:

    • Purchase the app at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your Jira or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the app at the same tier.
