Better Commit Policy Connector checks commits, source and destination branches, and pull requests against a set of rules. These rules—defined as “policy as code“—can enforce commit message formats, Jira work item references, or committer verification. If a change violates the commit policy, the pull request is blocked. The Better Commit Policy for Jira app is required for full functionality.
