I uninstalled it because I couldn't write the same formula twice in the same sentence. https://www.loom.com/share/e1c132034a3f45b8bccb6f197561cfd2 It turns out this is a bug in Confluence Cloud, although it doesn't happen in the LaTeX Math (non-Lite) version. I switched to that and it works a lot better.

I want to know the difference between this plugin and LATEX Math, waiting for your reply.

Thanks for the interest. The Lite version of LaTeX Math renders macros client-side, which requires fewer of our server resources, but due to various Confluence limitations does not offer as smooth of a user experience as the full version.
The advantages to using the full version include:- Support for PDF and Word export
- Proper vertical alignment of inline equations
- More complete LaTeX syntax support
- User defined commands that can be used across the entire Confluence instance
- Faster macro rendering, especially with many macros on one page
- Custom templates for numbering and math block layout

We have been using this for online math documentation and it has been working reasonably well. Rendering speed is not great, but works well enough, and it does do everything that we need. I avoid using the inline rendering because it does not match the text, but the block text works well. Some of the other reviews identify problems with preview and with the new versions of Confluence. We have had some of those problems, but they have been getting fixed, and Bolo was very responsive in addressing an issue we found with previews of block equations larger than a minimal size. So not fancy but gets done what we need. We will keep using it, though at some point we may upgrade to the non-Lite "LaTeX Math".

Very buggy, slooooooow plugin. You have to wait forever while it loads on the page.... if it loads without errors... Inline rendering looks poor as it doesn't match text position (Latex equations displayed higher than normal text). It is shame to take money for this beta... However, it is shame that confluence doesn't have LaTeX support out of box...

Hi Vladimir, I'm sorry you had a bad experience with LaTeX Math Lite. If you encounter bugs please let us know at help@bolo-software.com.
Please consider that LaTeX Math Lite's low price is possible by rendering the equations client-side (in the browser). This however comes with some limitations. Regarding the vertical alignment of macros, unfortunately Confluence does not allow proper vertical alignment of macros that are rendered client-side (see here). Regarding render speed, again everything is rendered client side, which does take some time if there are many equations on a page. However, MathJax 3 has just been released and promises faster render times, so a significant improvement may be coming soon to LaTeX Math Lite's rendering speed.
Edit: I found a stability issue that might have been affecting macro rendering for a few days now. This should be solved now.

Only supports the old confluence page design, not the new "smart" confluence pages which are now default. That is, the plugin is not showing up a.k.a. nowhere to be found when working in a new smart confluence page. Also, Confluence has this bug: "Due to this bug in Confluence, these characters cannot be used: ^{}". Making it impossible to write any proper LaTeX.

Atlassian released a fix to Confluence two days ago that solves the issue affecting math blocks in the new editor: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-65717
There is a second issue (CONFCLOUD-58280) affecting all add-ons in the new editor, which is that the new macros do not show up right away after installing the add-on. If you do not see any any latex math macros when typing "/latex" then please try a hard refresh of the editor.
Please note that the issue with ^{} characters only affects inline macros. We are currently looking into a workaround for this issue that should be available soon.
In the future we can provide the best support if you contact us at help@bolo-software.com.
