GoEdit - Direct Attachment Edit for Jira

Very, very helpful and time saving App if you need to edit attachments in Jira.

Hello, in Confluence I get automatically a new revision in the attachment of the Confluence page and I can look to the older versions. What about this in JIRA? I miss this possibility. Thank you for the information directly from supplier. As shown by KontextWork this possibility as given by disable the "Replace" box. Then automatically a "new version" is placed as attachment which can be directly edited by GoEdit and the older versions can be downloaded.

  GoEdt core functionality is to offer an easy way to edit attachments. How attachments and their revisions are shown in the platform, is part of Atlassians implementation. In Confluence it's done quiet well, in Jira it is close to useless and Atlassian does neglect this topic since years, maybe decided that attachments are not as important in Jira.

  Still you can help yourself using https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1212507/smart-attachments-for-jira which we also integrate with. It gives you all the tools and more.

  So the bottom line is, what you ask for is not part of GoEdit, neither in Confluence nor in Jira. Just Atlassian did a better job in Confluence, for Jira you need a app to solve this properly.
