Can create really beautifully annotated images! Wish this pugin did not have the following problems: - Annotations display differently in different browsers - When re-editing an annotated image, the exact position and dimensions are lost and must be arranged again Besides that, the plugin cannot handle images on the Confluence page, but instead requires to upload the image into the plugin again.

It's not so good from my tests, Not able to display asia characters. In chrome,it's still calling fonts.googleapis.com ,where google is completely blocked in China. So mostly likely unusable for users in China, Upon save,it's taking 30s to save the edit. The jpg file is 1.8MB

Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback. Sorry to hear about your government blocking certain websites. Screenshout doesn't save files as JPG. It does save to its own file format as a page attachment to preserve the original image. It serves an optimized png to end users viewing the page.

Would be interested in understanding why it's not displaying asian characters? This should work. Contact support@benryan.com if you want to help me figure it out.

I like it! Works fine for us. We do a lot of dokumentation in our company with screenshots and I personally tends to write not so much text. So, with screenshout I have the ability to let the image "speak for it self". But some issues exist. It would be great to set the image size explizit. It's not so much fun to drag, and drag to get the right size. Second, you have not the preview stuff like the confluence images, so you can slide through all your screenshots.

Cool idea, working OK, BUT: Image size grows enormously (Original image jpg 292 KB, screenshout attachment over 4 MB even with cropping hence reducing the displayed image size & only adding a small text box). So server footprint might be small, but memory footprint is big.

Thanks for the feedback. The attachment stores all of the data needed to re-open the image and edit it again. It is not the image displayed to the user. The image displayed to the user is very small. You can verify this by opening your browser dev tools and seeing the size it loads. That being said, 4MB is much larger than anything I have ever seen it create. What is the resolution of the JPG you are importing? Can you send me the screenshout file at support@benryan.com?
