"Updated Issues Basket" will show you only the issues that are changed after you viewed them for the last time.
Put one or more "Updated Issues Basket" gadgets on your dashboard and this will give you a one glance overview on what is new and what needs your attention.
Use the "Updated issues" menu item in your Business, Software and Service desk projects to find out what is new and what needs your attention. You can use your own filter, sort them, change the number of issues you see per page.
Checking updates on issues through your e-mail is a burden. With "Updated Issues Basket" you can turn off Jira notifications and avoid receiving tens or hundreds e-mails per day. Less spam, but more visibility!
Seeing your "Updated Issues Basket" empty will give you confidence that you are not missing anything important! Have a beer!
