One of my absolute favorite Jira apps. Instead of taking notes in a separate program, or keeping a notepad or random sticky notes - I use Refined ToDo. I basically created 3 main ToDo Lists: Due Today, Due This Week, & Due Future. I then set reminders for certain tasks that have deadlines, or add them to my "focus" so I can quickly tell which items need to be addressed first. It's a fantastic way to keep any and all requests/tickets/future projects. I have my whole IT department using it, and we all sit down and go over our weekly "todo lists". I really like that it emails me whenever I set a calendar date and includes the items that are due that day.

This add-on is on number one of ROI. We have been looking for a good way to accommodate todos which have no real JIRA project home. Ie. during the scrum we agree that something should happen (like upgrade to the latest version of stash which is great as it provides incremental reviews) but we don't have a real place to track such action. Refined Todo really allows to enter 'shift-T' - type type, enter. Done. Absolutely 4-stars. It's not a guarantee that it gets done but now the team has a place to register it.

Great app for quickly keeping track of minor tasks and reminders! Recently update to version 2.0 and the Pop-up mode is gone! This is extremely unfortunate. I often use that to quickly create a reminder, or quickly check up on things to do without losing my current working context. It was the main reason I bought the full version. Please re-include it (if possibly, as the default option) with the choice of seeing the full page view, or vice versa. I really just need the one-click step to seeing all my to-dos.

Thanks for your feedback and sorry to hear that you miss the Pop-up view.

It was removed in 2.0 due to a number of reasons. While convenient in some cases, it proved challenging for us when regarding the technical and design aspects. Rendering it in the context of a JIRA action page is more in line with how add-ons usually are shown in JIRA, and makes the UI more integrated.

Also, one of the main reasons a user wants to open the Popup without leaving the context of the page, is usually to create a Todo. This functionality still exists, the Add Popup view can be opened from anywhere by typing Shift+T on the keyboard. However, when organising or working with the Todo’s, you will be directed to the full screen page.

However, this is very interesting feedback, and we have created a feature request which you can track here: RWTD-13. We will discuss this more within the RefinedTodo team.

Cool idea, however coming from an app like Todoist, this just isn't powerful enough for my needs. I would use this everyday if it could either integrate with with another task list, such as Todoist, or if this could replace it and I was able to use it on the go. Still a cool idea and something that JIRA needs.

This is a great app and we use it a lot internally at our company. People track their individual todos on the list and help them to stay focus having all to do lists on same platform. CLient, projects, internal and now also PERSONAL. One think it misses is: (our Wishlist) - Sync with calendar of user (maybe subscription calendar) Gmail / Office 365 or Sync with external to do lists for use on mobile devices... - Posibility to share show to dos with other users.. (maybe using a shared to-do list) Otherwise, great tool One thing that confuses us, who is the new vendor? ;-) Will it be supported over time? Refine seems not to mention it on home and Alder Software is new?

    Pricing FAQ

How does server app pricing work?

Server products and apps are hosted on your servers. This app is sold as a perpetual license, and the purchase price includes 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your Atlassian product and app licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. For Jira 7.0 or later, the app tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed Jira products on your instance. For example, if you're running Jira Software (500 users) and Jira Service Desk (25 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 500-user tier for apps. For versions of Jira prior to 7.0, the app tier should match the licensed user tier for Jira. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Jira license, the two licenses should match exactly.

Can I install this app in a Data Center product?

This app does not have a Data Center approved version. Only apps meeting a set of performance requirements for large, clustered environments are approved for Data Center.

However, while server apps are built for single-server deployments, many customers successfully install them in Data Center products. If you're using a Data Center product, Atlassian recommends you contact the vendor to determine compatibility at scale.

Learn more about Data Center approved apps

What type of license do I need if I'm using this app in a Data Center product?

Because this app does not have a Data Center approved version, you should purchase a Server license if you decide to install this app in a Data Center product.

Learn more about Data Center licensing

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for server apps?

For server apps, academic licenses are available at a 50% discount if you have an academic license for your Atlassian product.

Community and open-source licenses are available for server apps. Learn more about community and open source licenses.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server apps, you can extend your app trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the app listing in UPM from your Atlassian product, and you're all set.

How can I buy apps for my legacy Jira Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy Jira Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy app pricing is no longer available. You have two options for app purchasing:

    • Purchase the app at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your Jira or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the app at the same tier.
