We use this plugin to sync with two Jira Cloud sites. Working with the support team was a pleasure, and they were a great help by providing fast and collaborative support for our questions.

I like the easy way to configure Exalate in the integration with Jira and the support cared by our customer representative with us. Even though we had support directly at the initial state, it was still challenging to understand the coding when there was no engineering team trained. I would like to the org to provide some training to the team members from the client.

WE are using Exalate for our Zendesk and Jira integration and it works great 99 times out of 100. Still having some gateway time-out issues but Exalate support are usually fast on restarting our node and then it works again. We are looking into other useses for Exalate so obviously very happy with it :)

We use Exalate extensively to synchronize private Jira issues with public GitHub issues, and for simple synchronization (like status, title, and basic descriptions), the tool performs very well and is highly reliable. It effectively solves the core problem of cross-platform issue tracking. However, we encountered limitations when trying to sync more complex data. Specifically, handling attachments is restrictive, and the significant differences in rich text formatting between Jira (Atlassian Document Format) and GitHub Markdown result in frequently ugly or broken formatting on the receiving side. While advanced scripting can be used to work around these text conversion issues, it's disappointing that there isn't a better built-in feature to manage this common disparity. Finally, we have experienced occasional server errors, but they are short-lived, and the sync quickly recovers. Overall, despite the initial scripting hurdle for text fields, this is a good and effective product that we rely on daily.
