Combine JQL & SQL for industry-standard reporting

Secure & private: no data leaks

    Jira Core, Software, Service Desk

Use JQL to search for issues in standard SQL queries.

Access to Jira issue fields and a lot of data not available from JQL.

Use aggregation functions: SUM, COUNT, etc. on your JQL results to build more powerful queries

The same SQL+JQL query returns different results depending on the 'currentUser'. This is a core feature independent of the calling tool.

Database security at record (instead of table) level respecting JIra permissions.

It transforms the Jira Core, Software & Service Desk Atlassian's Java APIs into a read-only tables.

Support for JDBC over HTTP for remote reporting & third party tool integration.

    More details

It's the industry-standard alternative to the Atlassian's low-level REST API.

It transforms Jira into a multitenant database server at scale (listening to the HTTP port) with full support for JQL in SQL to search for issues and for the JDBC protocol.

It relies on the Jira's user base for authentication and the Jira's permissions configuration for authorization out-of-the-box.

It is a long-term solution as all the queries are independent of the Jira database. They will continue working with no changes if the database is migrated to another vendor or changed by Atlassian.

Its memory footprint is very small (~1Mb RAM) and it is very fast... Well as much fast as the Atlassian's public Jira Java API which is the bottleneck.

    • Write your own JQL functions with SQL on the fly
    • Write custom workflow conditions and validators
    • Create and share flat and pivot tables, etc
    • Integrate with third-party tools for reporting & analytics

What a great tool with even better support. I'm now able to report on JIRA data that's been largely inaccessible up until now. Coupling SfJ with BIRT I'm able to run lightning fast queries and format reports just the way I need. And I'm serious when I say the support is even better than the product. I had a very slow SQL query that's now running in about 2 seconds flat thanks to their help.

Great addon for additional statistics and summaries. Jira and the Agile reports don't give me the statistics and summaries I need. Using SQL for Jira and the Birt reports I was able to create my own charts in the Jira dashboard. Support is also fast and great!

Is "Insert" and "Update" are removed? For data safety only "Select" statements should be enabled

It's great! Thank you! It resolve a lot of things for me. I don't know if I am making some mistakes or whathever but i can't find some information like worklogAuthor (the name, not the id) and the date the user put in the issue when log the work instead of the created worklog. Thank you another time!! :)

...and is this a problem of our app or of your Jira instance?

Where can we rate your Jira administrator?

Very useful and powerful tool! The support absolutely blew me away. Not only was a solution found within a few hours after me sending a mail to them, but they also followed up and provided a workaround that I could implement more quickly, and answered all my follow-up questions within less than an hour. The world would be a better place if support was always this good.

A great tool! And great support. The tool is a game changer for JIRA data reports. We are using JIRA for many business process automation use cases and this tool gives us reporting that runs in the context of the calling user. Lastly, the company went above an beyond helping us get the tool working through our proxy servers.
