The help section is awful - clearly referring to an older version of the software. The configuration is lackluster at best - no explanation for most things - not working - all negative.

I want to sync tasks with my client's JIRA. I feel ok I need to pay for the installation on my instance, but I feel weird asking my client to pay the amount for the sync... as he is my client. Plus why does my client need to pay based on how many users he's hiring, let's assume it's a big company and they have 2000 users, we have 100 users and want to sync a project with 100 users (maybe + 10 from customer end) in it? Should the final price be 2100 times the per-user fee? Is there any way to sync one-way only and pay only for my organization, I really feel bad when I need to ask my client to install a paid plugin (paid for him) so my life's easier. They don't have any benefit of installing it.

      Hi Chris,

We requires both synchronization sides to install the app, so decision about what and when will be synchronized is under control of both sides (security reasons). Natural consequence is to have both apps licensed and as 90% or more apps we follow Atlassian's Marketplace licensing model. It matches license cost with Jira user tier. From time to time someone is trying to argue with that but at the end hundreds of thousands apps are sold that way.

By the rule we follow Atlassian's licensing model but also make exceptions. One upcoming option it to buy cheaper license for external Jira and manage all licenses in master Jira.

Please, read our licensing details (https://intenso.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SYNTWO/pages/786137288/Licensing) or contact our support for more details.

Hello! As i can see, in order to achieve dual mode synchronism between two jira instances (for example Jira A from my customer and Jira B from my development team), will neccessary to install IssueSYNC plugin in both JIRA instances. My question may be something obviuosly, in each instance should I pay the add-on installation? or in other words, should I pay twice licences?

At the moment IssueSYNC (like every other add-on) belongs to their Jira instance. So if you have two Jira instances with separate licenses, then you also need two plugin licenses.

As a clarification: you do not pay twice, you pay once for each license.- Your customer (Jira A) has to get a license- You (Jira B) have to get a license
