ESU Lite displays a handy Summary Panel for all epics, giving you a live report visualizing time values and optionally completed work items and status categories.
You can see what’s going on in a single glance.
Progress bars with intuitive color coding
Sum up the following values for child work items of epics:
- Time: Original & Remaining estimate & Time spent
And optionally:
- Status categories: To do, In progress & Done
- Completed work items: Resolved & Unresolved

The ESU Lite version has a single use case - visualizing live-calculated values for epics. It was launched in response to requests from our customers who needed a simple, no-frills tool.
When you install the app, a Summary Panel with a time progress bar will automatically be shown on all your epics. Admins can also add progress bars for status categories and completed work items.
ESU Lite is also a Runs on Atlassian app, giving you control over data residency and data egress.
Of course, where there is a Lite version, there’s a full version. ESU comes with many more reporting features including:
- Adding live-calculated progress bars for time and any numerical metric, including custom calculated KPIs
- Summary Panels for any number of work types
- Saved layouts for weekly reporting tasks
- Excel & CSV export of created reports
