I gave it a try despite I knew it was not compatible with new gen projects and in deed, it didn't work. Our business case : as atlassian stopped to sell server's licences we decided to have a look to migration in cloud so I think all migrated projects are using the new generation of projects ? This led the plugin quite uselss for now, maybe when PTIS will have released v2.0 of the paid module they will also update the free one to support new generation projects. I didn't find the answer despite I searched hard :) 2* for providing to the community a free edition that might have done the job until Atlassian updated their framework and UI.

    Hi Yannick,

thank you for your feedback. You are right, as Atlassian changed policies, we had to put a lot of changes into our apps, so be patient, that the free ones are not our very first priority to do so. The next Cloud Version of Epic Sum Up will be released very soon and after that, we can update the light version, too. This is already planned and will include support for NextGen Projects and a few more benefits. But I think your assumption about the usage of NG Projects after the migration is maybe slightly different. From our research, the NG Projects are not that commonly used so far. If someone has different insights, I would be happy to talk to you:

If it does not support next-gen projects and you already know this then just say so on the home page rather than wasting peoples time trying to figure out why this doesn't work. 3rd app in a row I've uninstalled. Otherwise I commend you for providing a free app in this place.

    Hi Steve,

thank you for that feedback. We will update the Marketplace and Docs by adding this info. Actually we are working hard on the next version of Epic Sum Up for the Cloud with a lot of new features that close the gap from Server/DC.

If you are interested in these features, pls go to Epic Sum Up website to see whats coming up.

That's a very helpful plugin, thank you. I wonder if it would be possible to show Summary Pannel embedded in the new issue view. Since I switched to new issue view I must click on "Open Summary Panel" for every epic in jira to see the total logged time. https://prnt.sc/wmqehv

    Hi Danylo,

Thank you for your review! We really appreciate this. The new Issue View changes the way most of the additional Infos(e.g. from plugins) are presented. We are not happy with that additional click and try to find ways to optimize the user experience. Atlassian ist still open for feedback from customers. This is something that you might want to tell them ;)By the way, we are actually working on a new version for cloud with a lot more features in our full version. If you want to see the full feature set, please book a short demo with me.

    kind regards

Tried to install it on my latest Jira Cloud and it just doesn't work. Moreover and it says "unsupported". What a joke...

    Hi Stelios,

thank you for your review. I double checked our tickets and other places. Your ticket and review was written on the same day. We provide this plugin for no charge so we have a slightly longer response time. We help on any ticket even for a free plugin so please give us some more time to handle your problem. I apologize for this. I assume that this was gone through our webform, that which takes some time too. I would like to offer you (and everyone else) to use this link to book a demo directly with me:

    Hi Sarah,

thank you for your review, but the bad gateway was caused by a burned server farm in Straßbourg. There was a huge fire that burned down a lot of servers (more than a million). We don´t have a chance to provide this. I am sorry thats higher forces.

I have been evaluating the free Epic Sum Up Light plugin. It is very useful to have an aggregated time overview for an epic . When evaluating the plugin at first I was unable to have the Summary Panel displayed. But thanks to the good and persistent support from Aptis I have been able to get it working. Thumbs up and keep up the good work!

Would be a good addition to standard Jira functionality, if it wouldn't hide the original "Time tracking" panel on Epics. E.g. lots of people uses Time Tracking on Epic itself when estimating bigger parts (as Epics) and then breaking them down to tasks or stories. This plugin hides "Time tracking" panel completely.

It is a pitty that the specific "Summary Panel" _replaces_ the standard "Time tracking" panel.

    Thank you for your feedback.

Would you be so kind and get in contact with our support (info@aptis.support) and explain them, what exactly you are missing in the summary panel.

Then we can try to help you and improve the summary panel, so you do not miss out on any information anymore.

Looks like epic sum up light doesnt work with the new jira tempo timesheets, heres the example: we are using epics in our company to manage funcitonalities. Epics are divided by tasks. So we link tasks to the epicks, and epick itself doesnt have the estimation itself. This pluggin used to sum up estimated, remaining and logged work for its tasks. Right now, he counts estimated and remaining estimates, but worked hours seems invisible for this plugin. So if i.e at the beginning you estimated task for 80h and linked it to the epic, epic sum up will show you remaining estimate 80h. After 1st worklog on this task (i.e 8h), epic will show you that remaining estimate is 72h, worked hours are still zero, and that your won time is 8h, which is obviously not true. Please fix this, otherwise it is useless with the new jira timesheets.

    Hi Mateusz,

Thank you for your review and for pointing that out!

You are right and we are aware of that issue. We already got in contact with Tempo regarding this, but since the issue is not caused by our plugin, we cannot fix this on our own. This means, that we need to wait for Tempo to fix the issue.

Stay informed by watching Epic Sum Up.

    Best thanks again!

    Cheers

I have installed it but can't find any difference. No configuration options, no summary, nothing. I run JIRA Cloud JIRA v1000.695.3

    APTIS GmbH

    Hi Claudia,

    Thank you for your feedback.

This is only the free version of the plugin, which means that you only get the summary of time displayed in your epics. There are no configurations available for the free version.

The reason why we developed a free version is easy. A lot of people just need the summary of time for their jira and with this version they do not need to pay for the full version.

If you ever have any problems, feel free to contact our support: info@aptis.support, they are going to help you and try to solve the problems you are facing.

    Cheers

    Hi Roland,

    Thank you for your review.

The plugin is now compatible with up to jira 7.5.0, it sometimes takes a bit of time to test the compatibility with the new jira instance. Therefore I would recommend you to write an email to: info@aptis.support
