We’ve been using Zephyr Test Management for Jira for our testing processes, and it’s been an excellent addition to our workflow. The seamless integration within Jira keeps our QA and development teams closely aligned, and the intuitive interface makes planning, executing, and tracking tests really straightforward. We especially value the customizable dashboards and reports, which make it easy to monitor progress and quality metrics at a glance. Overall, Zephyr has proven to be a reliable, user-friendly tool that’s greatly improved our visibility and collaboration across projects.

Zephyr is capable test managment tool and is growing with monthly updates and fixes. But the best part is SmartBear Support team which is always responding to all our tickets providing excellent service. Love to work with them.

We have been using Zephyr for approximately 3 years now. It has been a major part of our regression testing during this time. It is easy to use and there are always improvements being rolled out. The new no code automation has been a big positive for us but it can be a bit flaky at times. This may also be a user issue as we have only recently been using this! Having said that, it is very easy to use and has plenty of functionality. Customer Service is amazing. I normally get a response within hours and the issue is normally fixed very quickly after.

Great test management tool. Very easy to set up and use. If something doesn't work, SmartBear provides excellent and fast support.

We used this mostly on data center then migrated to cloud. The migration aspect has been terrible and the reason why we are now exploring other options for our test case management system. Issues include: 1) Their support team is incompetent, lacks comprehension, lacks communication skills, or is a combination of all of them. They will ask for the same information multiple times, not listen or answer direct questions, and still couldn't provide a solution after three months of back and forth. Actually, one of their solutions was just to delete data, which is never a solution that a user wants to hear. 2) You can't migrate data outside the JCMA tool. If the Zephyr data transfer fails, you'll need to delete your data out of Jira Cloud and redo everything. If you want to manually migrate certain data, you can only migrate test cases and nothing else. The UI doesn't allow you to migrate any other data. While this is stated in their documentation, it is a very limiting aspect of their tool when it would constantly fail, since there are no workarounds. 3)The tool is not designed for large teams. If you are a heavy user of the tool and have significant data across all your test cases, your migration will fail. If you want to manually migrate your test cases using the UI, it has a 5 MB limit. We decided to just give up on getting all of our data and decided this was a good time to look into new options. I'd advise you to steer clear of this app if you have any amount of users or plan on using it extensively. Find something that can handle it's data better.
