Latest update made it a lot better and I'd consider using this except for one major issue I ran into. When opening or editing a page that has a Google doc/sheet/slide embedded in it with this add-on the embedded Google file grabs priority once it loads. That means that until the user clicks somewhere else, anything they type will actually start editing the Google drive file. I found this out when trying to use the Confluence keyboard shortcuts after opening a page with an embedded Google. The shortcuts weren't working and I was confused until I saw that the top left cell of the embedded Google sheet had a bunch of gibberish in it from my attempts to use the shortcuts. That's just asking to have mistakes happen. It's more frustrating while editing as making any changes above the macro causes it to refresh itself which grabs control away from the Confluence editor and you find yourself typing inside the Google doc/sheet/slide instead. The easy solve for me would be to have things be read-only on the page until you click a button or something to enable editing. If it had that feature I'd likely switch over to using this add-on.

"accounts.google.com refused to connect" problem here as well rendering it pretty much useless unfortunately.

Very nice addon. Easy to use and helpful! It would be great if a full-text search was available through the Drive files right in Confluence :-)

It just doesn't work. After addon installation macros don't appear in the macro list. Any idea how to fix it???

what about the most important "Google Drive" type PDF ??? right now i need to attached a pdf to a confluence page -- which is redundant -- and it wastes space -- we need an ability to better integrate with google drive ! UPDATE 8/12/2015 -- thank you so much for the fix PDFs from Google Drive work excellent!!!

Hi Ed, thanks for the feedback.

I opened new feature request https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-38077 for pdf support. Please upvote it (once there enough upvotes I'll do it).

Edit 1: This has been fixed. Please let me know if pdf previews now work for you and re-rate plugin if they do ;-)

    Edit 2: Thanks!!!

Works pretty well, but each instance appears to be taking up more article real estate than I'm configuring it to. As an example, I'm wanting to create a preview of 5 documents (each at 400x500px), though when saved, there's some pretty significant whitespace in between each section. Might be user error, might be something else. Screenshots: http://i.imgur.com/W4qqADj.jpg http://i.imgur.com/JeLQVtF.jpg Edit: Thanks for the fix, it's a beauty!

    Hi Ryan,

I have reports of similar issue with width/height. It's not user error.

I think I should be able to fix that early next week.

Edit: This has been fixed. Please let me know if it works well for you and re-rate if it does ;-)

Loved this for the on-demand service. Gutted to find out that this isn't available for Self-hosted. Any chance of that changing in future Atlassian? The only other option in the store is a bit of a joke tbh :/ Fingers crossed for a native option,

Seems to do what it says, I was easily able to embed a Drive Doc into a Confluence page. Adjusting the width/height wasn't too difficult either. Haven't tried other file types yet, but we'll usually be using Docs rather than spreadsheets/presentations anyway. Edit: Updated to 4 stars :)
