Summary: REST API support for our progress custom fields
Details: A new global setting, "Enable Progress Bar REST API" has been introduced. When activated, this feature enables the calculation of values for our progress bar custom fields directly through the Jira REST API for both individual issues and issue searches.
This enhancement is particularly important for integrations with Confluence Cloud, as it allows the "Jira Legacy" macro to correctly render our progress bars.
Important Notes Performance Considerations
Please be aware that enabling this feature may have an impact on the performance of your Jira REST API. The performance effect can be more noticeable if the progress bar custom fields are configured globally for all projects and issue types. We recommend monitoring your Jira instance's performance after enabling this setting.
