    I evaluated multiple Gantt options to implement for my company and BigGantt was the best one among the Cloud options. BigGantt is probably designed for Jira Software and I had some difficulty figuring out how to implement it for Jira Core. Luckly the support team has been replying quickly and solved all the issues (that I had so far!). Big thanks for support team!

    I started the trial and out of the box had some issues. - I cannot find the filters I created even if they are set to public. - All jira issues now have a "BigGantt - Work Breakdown Structure" section which only displays "This issue does not exist in any Program or you need additional permissions to access it." -- Hitting ... -> "Hide BigGantt" is not doing anything. I guess I can fix all this with intensive reading of documentation and adapting settings, but I rather stop the trial. If this is the solution, I rather want my problem back.

    There were enough usability bugs to give me a headache. It was a bit clunky. When grouping by epics I couldn't indent or outdent tickets. I couldn't get the epic name to appear at the top of the list. It also didn't play well with JIRA's UI. Most of the documentation is from the 2017 version of JIRA.

    Jesse, we're afraid you just misinterpreted most of these things. So sad you did not attempt to contact us first as we would have explained that to you. For instance, the app was designed the way that when enabling the "group by" feature, it deactivates the task structure view and thus, no ability to indent or outdent tasks.

    If you re-consider giving BigGantt another shot and would like to know more about its fundamental mechanisms, please raise a ticket through our Portal. We're looking forward to it.

    My previous company thought BigGantt was too hard to use and instead relied on MS Projects. It was a mess. Use BigGantt for a week to a month and you'll see it's much easier than manually updating an offline asset, and much more useful because you can see how tickets are connected and resourced at a glance (or at a filter and a glance). I brought BigGantt to my new company and fortunately everyone was willing to try it. We're much faster than we would have been using Jira boards alone, and the managers finally have a way to estimate resource loading. Love this software and their support is outstanding.

    BigGantt has been a job saver for me - literally! I am currently providing Project Management for a program that is developing >100 s/w features, in addition to many h/w features, on a very aggressive timeline. As a Project Manager, BigGantt has allowed me to have real-time, by the minute access to all the Epics, Issues and Tasks generated in Jira, all in one place in the BigGantt Task Manager. The program is very flexible and with the help of the BigGantt Customer Service team, I've been able to customize everything in BigGantt to our team's needs. BigGantt is similar to standard Project Management tools such as MS Project, yet it's ability to be dynamic due to it's connectivity to JIRA boards make it (in my opinion) the best Project Management tool I have used to date for s/w development. In addition, the Customer Service team, who I bother on a daily basis, have been a great help in walking me through the set up and customization of the program, addressing my questions via email or phone calls within the day I send the request. I would highly recommend BigGantt for all your Jira driven s/w and h/w product development projects.

    Very slow to create a chart (from a tiny test project). Came up with meaningless errors. Took no notice of assignments, scheduled all tasks simultaneously. Could drag them manually but not link them. If you did this, the change this was forgotten if you created a new chart. Changing the estimated time of a task had no effect on the chart; you have to make a new chart, which will have forgotten everything you did.

    I have three questions. 1. Can I edit the start date and the end date by texting not drag-and-drop. 2. Baseline schedule bar is overlapped with present schedule bar. Can I replace the baseline and present schedule bars in two lines? 3. I know you'll support multiple baseline in around Q3 this year, Could you let me know the exact date?

    Thank you for your query and for the review. To answer your questions:

    1) This can be done indeed through Jira Issue Detail View. Please keep in ming though, this operation is still performed within Jira not in plugin itself. Even if it may seem like it.

    2) This issue has been fixed in one of the latest releases and should no longer be a problem.

    3) Sadly, the multiple baseline functionality has to be moved to the end of Q4 this year, as there's many other features which became our priority as well as the fact that we are planning to implement multiple baselines with plugin's new look and feel.

    This is exactly what you've been dreaming of if you just wish you could work with your epics and stories/tasks laid in a Gantt view. Setup is a little tricky, but the great support makes up for that. If you have a hassle, just ask.

    How does cloud app pricing work?

    Cloud apps are sold as a monthly or annual subscription. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

    When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for apps based on the number of users in your instance.

    If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

    How do I determine my cloud pricing?

    Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. Jira Cloud apps are priced based on the maximum users of the Jira products on your instance. For example, if you have Jira Software (50 users) and Jira Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, you pay the 50-user price for apps.Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Desk, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for licensing across maximum users still apply.

    The pricing structure for cloud apps is as follows:

    For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app.
