    This app has an issue with syncronisations and is overwriting my plan dates incorrectly.

    We dove into the free trail to put BigGantt through it's paces, and at this point we're not convinced my company is going to use it after the 30 days expire. For 2 reasons: 1. Performance: - Our Jira server runs on a high end machine, on a solid fibre optic connection to most of our workstations, yet it takes 2-3 seconds for every single change we do to an issue in the Gantt chart to register. It's painfully slow. - It also takes 2 - 3 seconds for any Gantt information to be loaded on an issues page - Rendering of the Gantt Chart (we have only about 50 issues so far, and their dependencies) - rendering is pretty sluggish as well, not very responsive. 2. Dependency linking of issues in the Gantt chart is not intuitive: If I connect a issue to a parent, DON'T pull the issue's time to start right after the parent's! I put that child issue in the future for a reason. The only time the Gantt chart should nudge due dates is when you adjust the length of a parent issue, affecting it's children (which is does). -

    Question: when I try to add BigGantt into my dashboard, instead of appearing "Project" in the configurations I have the field "Box". But my Jira is setup in a project, so I cannot select it. What is this "Box" and how do I load my project in the Gantt dashboard?

    How does cloud app pricing work?

    Cloud apps are sold as a monthly or annual subscription. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

    When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for apps based on the number of users in your instance.

    If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

    How do I determine my cloud pricing?

    Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. Jira Cloud apps are priced based on the maximum users of the Jira products on your instance. For example, if you have Jira Software (50 users) and Jira Service Management (10 agents) on the same instance, you pay the 50-user price for apps.Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Management and Jira Software, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for licensing across maximum users still apply.

    The pricing structure for cloud apps is as follows:

    • Monthly subscriptions with up to 10 Atlassian product users are billed at a flat rate price.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 10 users are billed per user, starting at the first user.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 100 users are billed per user. The table above provides example pricing at various user levels.

    Annual subscriptions may offer a discount depending on the number of users purchased.

    Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for cloud apps?

    Yes. Academic, community, and open source licenses are available to qualifying organizations. See our Purchasing & Licensing FAQ for more information.

    Can I extend my free trial?

    For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app.

    It brings the following changes and improvements:

    • Improvements to markers – A new tooltip displays the current date when adding a new marker. This tooltip is visible even in zoomed-out views of the Gantt chart. Additionally, users can now simply double-click on a marker to start editing it.
    • End date during box creation – The end date field automatically shows a suggested value (current date) to simplify the box creation process.
    • Default task order – when the user clicks the sorting icon on any column name, the initial sorting order is ascending. A second click will sort the rows in descending order.

    Details

    Version 8.31 of BigGantt has just gone live!

    It brings the following changes and improvements:

    • Improvements to markers – A new tooltip displays the current date when adding a new marker. This tooltip is visible even in zoomed-out views of the Gantt chart. Additionally, users can now simply double-click on a marker to start editing it.
    • End date during box creation – The end date field automatically shows a suggested value (current date) to simplify the box creation process.
    • Default task order – when the user clicks the sorting icon on any column name, the initial sorting order is ascending. A second click will sort the rows in descending order.

    Installation

    1. Log into your Jira instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Atlassian Marketplace. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
    3. Click Find new apps or Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
    4. Locate BigGantt - Gantt Chart for Jira via search. The appropriate app version appears in the search results.
    5. Click Try free to begin a new trial or Buy now to purchase a license for BigGantt - Gantt Chart for Jira. You're prompted to log into MyAtlassian. BigGantt - Gantt Chart for Jira begins to download.
    6. Enter your information and click Generate license when redirected to MyAtlassian.
    7. Click Apply license. If you're using an older version of UPM, you can copy and paste the license into your Jira instance.
