Gregory Ross-MunroWe have been using Upraise for over two years now. We started using it for just the OKR functionality, but slowly started using it for every aspect of our business (feedback, 360s, company directory, and all sorts of forms).
It is not a perfect too (what is?) but there are a few key advantages to using Upraise over every other tool we look at:
1. It runs in Jira. Our teams are in Jira all day, so having our feedback systems and OKRs transparent right there in the tool they're used to is the best way to have them used.
2. The OKR tool is really flexible and well thought out.
3. The feedback system is excellent. Leaving feedback for team members is easy and convenient. Feedback and notes appear in the margins when it comes time to do 360s, so it has a reinforcing mechanism.
4. Support, feature requests, and customer support has been excellent. Anand has jumped on calls, responded to tickets, and promptly responded to emails every time we've reached out.
As mentioned in some of the reviews below, the system can sometimes be a little slow, but this is more due to the Atlassian platform I think (we've written some stuff for the cloud version in the past, and understand the constraints). There also need to be a few additions to the 360 reporting system for it rival dedicated people management tools, but I know they are working on that.
There really isn't another tool, in anywhere near this convenient a configuration, for software development companies to use for OKRs/Feedback/Directory/360s.
