Sometimes issues fall between the cracks and you forget about them. With the My Reminders addon you never have to forget about issues again. Just set one or more reminders on the issues that you care about and be reminded about them days, weeks, months or even years later.

It's the missing piece in your notification flow. And the best part: it's completely free and always will be.

If you have ever found yourself in the following situations then this is the Add-on for you:

  • "I wish that I could deal with this next week / month!"
  • "We realy need to make sure that we don't forget to do this issue before the deadline."
  • "I need to remember to tell sam and susan about this issue next week"

This addon will allow you to:

  • Set reminders on Jira issues. You can set more than one reminder per issue.
  • Leave messages on the reminders so that you can remember why you wanted to be reminded.
  • Set reminders days, weeks, months and even years in advance.

So get it for free today!

When my colleagues install My Reminders from the marketplace, they have the message : "We are unable to generate an evaluation license. The plugin key is invalid. Please contact us if the problem persists". Whereas I don't have any problems to install (I'm the JIRA admin). I temporarily gave one of my colleague the admin rights but she still had the same error message. Can you help with that?

I suspect that this is an issue with your cloud instance. Can you please raise a support request for this at support.atlassian.com?

Nice Plugin but no Internet Explorer support. "App is not responding. Wait or cancel?" Using IE 11.0.9600.18837 over Citrix JIRA Cloud Other browsers like Chrome, Firefox work

great simple tool that helps me a lot. Mostly for support tickets. One thing todo :) It would be great if it would be possible to change the default reminder. I don't need tonight but 2 weeks would be great.

I don't seem to be able to find out via JQL whether reminders have been set on issues. In order to defer action on issues until later, you want to be able to hide issues from certain views using JQL, if you have set up a reminder for later - surely that's the whole point. As otherwise they are still in your list, vying for your attention, even though you have chosen to defer them until later. Thank you for your reply. I understand your concerns over privacy. However the same logic has not been applied elsewhere in Jira. For example: Anyone can current see who is 'watching' an issue from JQL. So it seems counterintuitive that you cannot see who is being 'Reminded' of an issue. If you are worried about 'security', then this is the same. However, I thought Jira was more about collaboration than privacy. Regardless of the comment I have just made, I would be happy if the JQL function called say 'Reminded()' only returned the list of issues that the person executing the call was be reminded of. That way, I could create a dashboard of two widgets: #1 Issues assigned to me that I do not have reminders on. I.e. Currently actionable. #2 Issues I have set reminders on, that I cannot do anything with until the reminder date. That way, a user does not have to scan down tens (or hundreds) of unactionable issues, in order to find the ones that are actionable. Does that make sense? I don't want you to compromise your policy, so I think this gives us both what we want.

Hi Stephen I'm glad that you are enjoying My Reminders but that is a tricky feature request. Within My Reminders is the implication that the reminders are private to you. For example, imagine that you are a manager and wanted to set a reminder on one of the issues that one of your reports is dealing with, just to keep an eye on things. Would you want them to be able to find out if you were watching the issue?

Currently My Reminders keeps your reminders private to yourself; nobody can tell how many reminders you have set or what you have set them on. If we let you filter out issues that did not have your reminders on them, via JQL, then anybody on your Atlassian Cloud instance could run the same JQL query and see what issues you had reminders on.

As a result, I probably will not implement this feature until this issue is solved: https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/browse/ACJIRA-699 (If that feature was solved then I could add the feature you are requesting into My Reminders).

It's free and it seems to work, can't ask more really. Sure it could have more features but the !/$ ratio is still quite high due to the price. =)

We are also experiencing the same problem that Jijo John did below about the key email not being present. What was done to resolve this issue?

I have created MR-57 to track this issue. Can you please comment on that issue explaining what is going wrong and provide a screenshot?
