Jira's native Excel export is essentially plain text: no data typing, no formatting, no links. Better Excel Exporter fixes all of that. Exports come out as proper .xlxs with correct data types and hyperlinked keys, so clients can actually work with the data immediately without the initial clean up. The template system gives it good flexibility as well. JSM integration including SLA data is a nice touch. Support from the Midori team has been responsive.
