    We use Smart Attachments with JIRA v7 and it works great. We are anxiously awaiting Smart Attachments for the JIRA Cloud environment. What is the target date for that?

    Great Plugin. Very Intuitive. Also the (remote) support is above and beyond. [thanks Vadim] To bad our company is behind on the JIRA version updates. I have been informed the latest and greatest plugin gives even more functionality. Still four start although I could not evaluate the full potential.

    Great plugin! But i have some unpleasant problem with it. After installation, it's break links in zip attachment preview. When i'm click one of the archive's files (or "Download link" button) in list attachment view all crashes and i have exception instead of file preview or download dialog. Exception: java.lang.RuntimeException: com.atlassian.jira.exception.AttachmentNotFoundException. Without plugin (or when it disabled) all works fine. ADDED: Quick response, quick fix, great plugin, and great developers team! Thanks!

    We are using Jira to track our complex assembly services. Throughout the issue lifecycle we are attaching dozens of files of different types (offers, credit notes, invoices, insurance documents, acceptance reports, and others), so by the end we usually had a mess of those files (approximately 50 items per issue). Smart Attachments app has become the solution that allowed us to preserve the existing workflow and do not split it into smaller parts just to maintain the navigability across attachments. Originally, we were using prefixes that were included into the file names, but this solution was not an optimal fit for our case. With the categories we can keep attachments always in place and now there is no need to look for a particular file for a long time. We have started using the app, but we see the great potential in it. In the nearest time, we plan to try post-functions and validators bundled within the app. Probably, they will help us to automate our routine processes in Jira too. P.S. Hope that the team will introduce the report on attachments in breakdown by category. This will be quite useful for us!

    How does server app pricing work?

    Server products and apps are hosted on your servers. This app is sold as a perpetual license, and the purchase price includes 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

    You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your Atlassian product and app licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

    If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

    How do I determine my server pricing?

    Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. For Jira 7.0 or later, the app tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed Jira products on your instance. For example, if you're running Jira Software (500 users) and Jira Service Desk (25 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 500-user tier for apps. For versions of Jira prior to 7.0, the app tier should match the licensed user tier for Jira. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Jira license, the two licenses should match exactly. Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Desk, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for the license tier still apply.

    Can I install this app in a Data Center product?

    Yes, this app has a Data Center approved version. If you're using a Data Center product, you should install the Data Center version of the app.
