    The backend is very fine and resemples server version. The frontend part is really pointless,a single select field is supported, not single/multi limitations, no dropdown possibilities, and no drilldown limitations in regards to other fields....

We understand your comments about the "Asset Field". We have pointed out the limitations of the Asset Field to Atlassian for a long time, we've also provided suggestions for improvement. But the Asset Field is not a part of Insight, it's what Atlassian provides and therefore out of our hands.     - Lacks reporting - Cannot assign status to assets in the Cloud version - what good is it then? Overall good product, but the Cloud implementation has severe feature deficiency.

    Insight Asset Management on Cloud currently does not have integration with external systems such as Azure or Active Directory. We have 12 free integrations for Insight Server/Datacenter. They will be available for Insight Cloud in future.

    Otherwise great CMDB in server area, unfortunately in the cloud it's unusable. It cannot be properly integrated with Jira or external systems. Unusable sync.

    Please provide clarity and/or roadmap of Cloud version and its feature gap from Server edition. Very unclear whether important admin features - import/export/backup etc. as well as user features will be available and WHEN - at least an aspiration if not planned yet for delivery.

    We are using 4GB JVM to live up for Jira software. Since installed insight asset, Jira service performance, speed is severely getting slow. (it took 10 sec to open an issue view After disable insight, jira service performance getting normal. I saw your installation guide and you recommended 4GB for ~10000 assets for Insight. Should we raise JVm memory to 8Gb or more? (current assets created are under 20 assets) Please guide some to overcome current disaster.... thanks

    We tried it more than once and really wanted to like it. However the Vendor support was tepid. It was unduly difficult to configure the product. Documentation inconsistent, as well.

    However, as you have experienced, the beginning maybe blurry sometimes. We recently composed tips on Data Modelling which is one of the sensitive topics. We are also happy to share that we are about to release the step by step implementation documentation on one Use Case for all Jira and Insight configurations including the design logic for data modelling. We are hoping the Use Case will help our customers to unleash the potential of Insight.

    Well-rounded, easy to pick up CMDB app. Integration with Jira is great : customizable fields, reporting in one click, Flexible and efficient data imports. Support is really active and improvements are continuous. Expensive, but this is the swedish quality !

    Great plugin. We are using Insight Data Center for our company and it's doing a great job already. 1) UI is very intuitive and info displayed for any asset is very useful ( Like the Referenced Assets, Referenced assets for any software). 2) Plugins to integrate with other 3rd party resource like AWS etc., is awesome. 3) Graph view is very nice one as it gives a very high level idea what's going on the CMDB side for anyone who wants to take a quick look. 4) Reports - Very nice 5) Performance - Good but can be improved - We found some other alternative ways to improve it suggested in the documentations So, we're very much satisfied with this plugin. Good job team.

    Their support is fantastic! I was having difficulties with the initial setup and they were able to guide me through the issues I was having. Their documentation is being updated which I hope will iron out some of the kinks with their existing docs.

    How does cloud app pricing work?

    Cloud apps are sold as a monthly or annual subscription. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

    When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for apps based on the number of users in your instance.

    If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

    How do I determine my cloud pricing?

    Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. Jira Cloud apps are priced based on the maximum users of the Jira products on your instance. For example, if you have Jira Software (50 users) and Jira Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, you pay the 50-user price for apps.Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Desk, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for licensing across maximum users still apply.

    The pricing structure for cloud apps is as follows:

    • Monthly subscriptions with up to 10 Atlassian product users are billed at a flat rate price.

    For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app.
