This product is terribly slow. It takes full 2 minutes to load all my user stories on the story map. Lastly, everytime i re-order my epics on the story board, when i come back to it after the browser tab is closed, my changes are lost, I am not sure how its saving it.

Hi Ashish, sorry to hear this.

It would be great if you could reach out to our support team so we can investigate further. What you describe is certainly not the desired or intended behaviour.

I'm on evaluation atm, but will most likely purchase. Lot's of potential, and added value to me on day one. A few things I'm wondering about: - "Collapse all" for sprint swimlanes. Or remember the ones that were collapsed between sessions. I must have collapsed 1 million sprints by now. - Be able to edit story or epic from the Story Map view, as a popup edit rather than open the issues in a separate window. - Duplicate and Delete Story or Epic within the Story Map view. Probably more, but I'll bother the support once I purchase.

Thanks for the feedback Tobias, greatly appreciated.

    • Collapse Sprints - this is now remembered. If you are on Jira Cloud you've got it already, if you are on Jira Server please upgrade to version 4.1.
    • Edit in the story map - beyond the inline edit for the Summary and estimate field we'd like to pop the edit issue dialog using keyboard shortcuts. Unfortunately that falls under the Jira Cloud limitations that we're waiting on Atlassian to address. This would also cover the Delete use-case (issue actions in general would solve a lot of limitations).
    • Duplicate - I can see us replicating something along the lines of the new split issue functionality Jira Software provides.

Thanks Tobias, please keep the feedback coming.

Thank you for the feedback Raul.

Atlassian handles all of the Easy Agile billing and licensing. When purchasing an app license the user tier must match that of the Atlassian 'host' product (in this case Jira). This is a requirement of Atlassian Marketplace, as detailed in this Atlassian FAQ.

We are using Roadmaps. So far it has been good for our team to see all projects throughout the year. It would be much more effective if this Roadmaps plugin can do these following items: 1. Connect to JIRA epic start date and end date and populate the created epics in the Roadmaps 2. Ability to filter by Assignee, start date, end date 3. Ability to color by Assignee Thank you very much.

    Thanks for the feedback Watsa!

We've taken an approach in Easy Agile Roadmaps that allows us to visualise a single epic on the roadmap calendar more than once. We did this so that product managers could stop duplicating epics and shuffling child issues from one epic to another - this was a common approach based upon conversations we had. As such we are unable to use Jira custom fields as there may be multiple start/end dates for a single epic.

As for the filtering and colours, we'd love to bring these to both Easy Agile User Story Maps and Easy Agile Roadmaps. Unfotunately the APIs for quick filters and card colours are not published by Jira Software. Please vote and comment on those issues to show your support for them, it gives us leverage with Atlassian product managers.

We were having a weird loading issue with a specific board. Nick got on line with me to see it replicated and we were able to determine the reason for the issue in my system. He was then able to replicate with the development team and confirm a fix in a newer release. Supported really means supported for this plugin.

I see a ton of potential here. Would love a mode that shifts from Epic>Story breakdown to Story>Subtask breakdown, filtering by sprint, for use in sprint planning. Creating subtasks via native JIRA UX is a pain. Doing it this way instead would be aMaZiNg.

Thanks for the feedback Joey, greatly appreciated.

You got me reflecting on our ethos behind the story mapping app and thinking. We do have a story on the backlog to support sub-tasks, yet it doesn't extend to a Story -> Sub-task breakdown.

Would that assist? Feel free to reach out and we can explore more.

    Thanks Joey,

I want to love this plugin, as it addresses a real deficiency in Jira. - Clicking an issue should show me the issue quick view, like on the kanban board. - In a kanban workflow, tickets move from Triage -> Backlog. But both show the same "Todo" colour. I'd like a clearer indication of issue status. - When you create a new epic, it goes far-right. Fair enough. But I can't right click en epic to jump it to the left, nor can I drag and scroll left. If you have a lot of epics, it's a tedious drag-drop-scroll cycle. So tedious that the feature is unusable. - For some reason "Backlog" is greyed out. I suspect this is because I use the new Kanban Backlog feature, and the tool was set up with Scrum in mind. - Look and feel could be a little better. Why not copy the card layout from the regular board?

Hi Tristan, thanks for the feedback, greatly appreciated.

We have a story on the backlog to provide a quick view into the description. I've made a note to follow up and let you know when it is available.

The colour indicator we show relates to the Status Category (To Do / blue, In Progress / yellow, Done / green). If you hover over the colour indicator you will see the Status that issue is in. We've made this choice for brevity and information density on the story map.

Drag and scroll on the issues/epics was released earlier this month. I'm particularly excited about it as I believe it speeds reordering significantly. I don't have a story on the backlog for a right click option at this stage as I'm awaiting feedback on the new drag and scroll behaviour.

As for the backlog being greyed out, I'll follow up with you on this via a support request.

And in respect of the look and feel we are now following the Atlassian Design Guidelines v3 which has evolved rapidly since its release in May this year. While Atlassian has not yet made Atlassian Design Guidelines v3 available on Jira Server we made the decision to switch now so that our Jira Cloud customers can take advantage of it.

I'll follow up via support request now regarding the backlog on the Kanban board.

    Thanks Tristan,

Installed at the request of our Business Analysis team to help with User Story creation, tracking and mapping, but eventually found to provide little additional benefit to the wider project team and within a couple of months and we ended up with nobody actually using it, so disabled and uninstalled.

How could we improve the product to make the practice of story mapping and backlog grooming more effective? support@easyagile.com is a good way to reach us.

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does cloud app pricing work?

Cloud pricing is subscription based. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for host products and apps based on the number of users in your instance.

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my cloud pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your host product. Jira Cloud apps are priced based on the maximum users of the Jira products on your instance. For example, if you have Jira Software (50 users) and Jira Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, you pay the 50-user price for apps.

The pricing structure for cloud products and apps is as follows:

    • Monthly subscriptions with up to 10 host product users are billed at a flat rate price.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 10 users are billed per user, starting at the first user.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 100 users are billed per user. The table above provides example pricing at various user levels.
    • If per-user pricing is not yet available for this app, please contact the vendor for further information.

If you've opted for annual billing for your host product, apps are also billed annually at a discount (12 months for the price of 10).

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

Academic, community and open source licenses are not available for cloud apps.

Can I extend my free trial?

For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app.

    Paid-via-Atlassian pricing FAQ

How does server app pricing work?

Server products and apps are hosted on your servers. Licenses are perpetual and the purchase price include 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your host product and app licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your host product. For Jira Server 7.0 or later, the app tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed Jira products on your instance. For example, if you're running Jira Software (50 users) and Jira Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 50-user tier for apps. For versions of Jira Server prior to 7.0, the app tier should match the licensed user tier for Jira. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Jira license, the two licenses should match exactly.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses?

For server apps, purchase and renewal is half-price if you have an academic license for your Atlassian host product. Server apps are always free for community and open-source licenses.

For more details about qualifying for special licenses, see here.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server apps, you can extend your app trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the app listing in UPM from your Atlassian host product, and you're all set.

How can I buy apps for my legacy Jira Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy Jira Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy app pricing is no longer available. You have two options for app purchasing:

    • Purchase the app at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your Jira or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the app at the same tier.
