5.1.1Jira Data Center 7.2.0 - 7.12.32018-10-10Fixes an issue where a Jira instance has multiple Rank fields Version 5.1.1 • Released 2018-10-10 • Supported By Easy Agile Support Team • Paid via Atlassian • CommercialWe saw a customer support request this past week where a Jira instance had more than one Rank field. While the Rank field is a 'locked' (i.e. managed) Jira Software field it is possible to add additional Rank fields, yet they are not respected by the newer versions of Jira Software so should not be used.
This update makes sure the official Jira Software Rank field is used on the story map.

This made us take a closer look at the way we handle quick creating issues.
A bad side-effect of the old "quick create on text area blur" heuristic was that you could not use the keyboard to navigate to the project or issue type drop down. The 5.0.6 release resolves this issue.
Happy issue quick creating!

5.0.3Jira Server 7.2.0 - 7.10.22018-05-11Small improvements Version 5.0.3 • Released 2018-05-11 • Supported By Easy Agile Support Team • Paid via Atlassian • CommercialThis is a small improvement release following our major 5.0 launch.

5.0.2Jira Server 7.2.0 - 7.9.22018-05-10Small improvements Version 5.0.2 • Released 2018-05-10 • Supported By Easy Agile Support Team • Paid via Atlassian • CommercialThe story map now gracefully handles the absence of a list of projects returned from Jira. This occurs with 'complex' JQL queries in an agile board filter due to a bug in Jira: JSWSERVER-16172
We encourage you to vote and comment to show your support if that bug affects you.
In addition:
- estimate statistics now update when an issue is moved from one sprint/version to another in the Backlog panel,

This is now fixed.
This release includes a known issue with Jira Server being unable to determine the projects from the saved filter, as detailed in this knowledge base article. If you experience this issue we encourage you to vote and comment on JSWSERVER-16172 to show your support for Atlassian to fix it.
5.0.0Jira Server 7.2.0 - 7.9.22018-05-03Bringing back issues without epics - New 'Backlog' panel Version 5.0.0 • Released 2018-05-03 • Supported By Easy Agile Support Team • Paid via Atlassian • CommercialWe've heard from customers that they are using the story map more and more for weekly sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions.
For an effective backlog grooming session it is incredibly important to show issues that are and are not associated with an epic. Teams can then plan their sprints and versions in the story map even when work (like technical debt) isn't linked to an epic.
We're ecstatic to welcome the new 'Backlog' panel which allows your team to:
- See issues not already associated with an epic
- Search for issues via text summary or issue key
- Group issues without epics into sprints or versions for better sequencing
- Multi-select issues then drag and drop them onto the story map
- Apply quick filters specifically to those issues without epics for focused search results

4.1.1Jira Server 6.4 - 7.9.22017-12-19See more of your story map at a glance with greater card density Version 4.1.1 • Released 2017-12-19 • Supported By Easy Agile Support Team • Paid via Atlassian • CommercialThe Easy Agile team is proud to announce the release of Easy Agile User Story Maps 4.1.1. Read the full release notes.
Two significant improvements in this release build upon our 4.1 release from November:
- automatic sizing of the card height
- full width sprint/version headers
With these powers combined you will have greater information density on the story map, enabling you to see more of the story map at a glance. All of these improvements are in service of more effective team story mapping and backlog grooming sessions.
We've also fixed a niggling (and hard to reproduce issue) with Jira issue indexing.

Thanks for all your support and encouragement as we work to continuously improve the story map!

- Image exports would sometimes break due to not being able to load an issue type icon
- XLS export (Chrome only) would break if the board's name was greater than 31 characters
- The AtlasKit dropdown component was updated to fix an error in IE
- You can now search for existing issues to add to a story map on a board which is not ordered by Rank

Happy story mapping and sorry for any inconvenience caused!

It was due to a localised response from the Jira API which we didn't anticipate. Clearly a big bug - apologies for the inconvenience caused.

2.2Jira Server 6.3 - 6.4.142016-04-22Welcome to Speedy Estimation & Sprint Planning! Version 2.2 • Released 2016-04-22 • Supported By Easy Agile Support Team • Paid via Atlassian • CommercialWe improved estimation and sprint planning which an agile team conducts towards the end of a story mapping session. A team can quickly estimate with inline edit on the Story Point field, all while sprint statistics update immediately. The Product Manager can see commitment sprint-by-sprint and ensure sprint workload is balanced. These improvements lead to more successful story mapping sessions.
'Done' issues are no longer shown unless in an active sprint. Many of you have indicated you want to track progress using the story map; we'd love more feedback on this so we can make it happen.
Finally, a huge thanks to Sabine, Anna, Dan, Vince, Steve, Esteban, John, Angel, Heiko and the teams at HND, ACA, Principal, Globant and Twitter. Please keep the feedback coming! (And if you're in the mood to leave a Marketplace review we'd love that too - thank you!)
