Automation for Jira - Lite

Love this plugin. Only wish it allowed for Webhooks with custom payloads. Trying to get a better integration with MSTeams and Jira Server, and the Default Jira Webhooks do not allow for Custom fields in the payload.

Using the trial - If you have a basic install it's probably fine, but custom fields don't seem to work which is a bummer.

Doesnt work with Insight custom fields, unfortunately

Hi John, This plugin has a great features and it is so helpful for us. But as of version 4.0.0, the plugin's free version is no longer supported in Jira Data Center. Will the plugins functionality from v5.0.0. and above works with Jira DC v8.0.x and above even though it is not supported ? Please let me know your inputs. Thanks, Surender

  Thanks for the review! Glad you are enjoying using Automation for Jira.

  You are quite correct regarding Automation Lite not being supported with Data Centre anymore.

  You can continue to run your existing version for the foreseeable future for free, however at some stage if you upgrade Jira Data Center to a newer version (e.g. Jira 8.0), this version of Automation Lite for Jira may no longer be compatible with your version of Jira. There is, however, a grandfathering period, which Atlassian explains best here.

  Andreas also wrote this blog which explains the reasoning behind the decision and gives further details.
