    A very good tool, which i.a. helps to understand articles quicker by highlighting glossary terms on demand. However, it doesn't highlight abbreviations and synonyms, which forces the user to add a separate term for each synonym, form (e.g. plural), abbreviation etc. Dear Spectrum Groupe, do you plan to add highlighting abbreviations and synonyms in any of the next versions?

    It does not work - after installation it crashes confluence down Cause: java.lang.NullPointerException at fr.spectrumgroupe.confluence.plugins.glossary.actions.GlossaryAddTerm.execute(GlossaryAddTerm.java:39)

    The Add-on itself is nice and I would love to use it, but it's not compatible with Scroll Translations. This makes it useless for me.

    Hi, the good news is that this feature is amazing. The "bad" news is that I am using it "improperly", on purpose. I mean, instead of using it as intended and write short definitions or explanations, I am converging these terms with my labels to show in which pages or blog posts that term is used, hovering with the mouse in a nice way (I think). To be clear: GlossaryTerm|GloTerm="holyday" ContentByLabel|cql=label="holyday" And it works perfectly. The words are almost all correctly highlighted as well as the glossary box when I hover. Almost, because the words that I have in one column, inside a "space news" (https://docs.refinedwiki.com/display/rwot/Space+News) are totally messed up after the highlighting, and nothing change if I click again to make disappear the highlighting. Let's say that I have the following line, before: "New article about working with xyz on windows" when the highlight is applied I end up with something like (one line highlighted, the next is not, one line highlighted, the next is not and so on): "New article about working with xyz on windows". Clicking again on the button makes the highlight disappear but the text is left messed up and I need to reload the page. Now, I am aware that I am not using it as intended, but did I do something wrong? Any advice about how to fix or, at least, figure out what is the reason? I am having a look with Chrome devtools but I am not so good with CSS. Thank you very much :)

    Currently evaluating this plugin. I created a glossary entry "APO" and added to a page so that the glossary icon found it. Cool. It does not find it though when it was placed between parenthesis "(APO)". This is a show stopper for me. Juan Carlos---

    I'm really liking this plugin and look forward to the new version coming out soon. One thing which I have noticed is that if a user turns off the "Find Term in All Glossaries" icon at the top of the page which turns off all the highlights to words in the glossary, if he then goes to a different page and then returns to the previous page, the feature is turned back on again. Is that a feature or a bug? Could there be a user preference whether the highlighting feature is turned on or off?

    I'm reviewing glossary add-ons and yours looks interesting, however it would be really compelling if there were a macro to display a table of terms (and their definitions) referenced in a document/page. Though not necessary for online usages, it goes a long way to automating a glossary section when exported to PDF/Word or printed.

    Note that we are providing a full export feature based on an advanced search interface or from Glossary in version 4.0 that is scheduled December 2018. But we will be studying how to provide a macro to list highlighted terms in page.

    This release is expected for the beginning of December 2018 (ideally the end of November if the QA phase went well) We are currently driving full tests of compatibility on several data bases due to data migration that we introduced in version 3.4.0.

    Our sincere apologies for the delayed response.

    Back in August, we announced that we'll be releasing a new version of Glossary 4.0 which will include these new features: Import & Export. Unfortunately we encountered some issues and under such circumstances we decided to postpone it at that time. However, we're happy now to inform you that it would be released by the end of october.

    I got a fast reply from spektrumgroupe and the new version of Glossary. It works fine now and is a helpful add-on for our confluence implementation. The issue I had: I'm trying to work with your Glossary, but I have a question concerning the collaboration with Atlassians Jira. Is it possible to link a glossary term to a jira ticket and vice versa? BTW: I'm facing the same problems as Ekaterina described a few comments earlier. After adding a term with the letter P, I find several letters P in the Dashboard now. Delete or update are producing even more P - looks funny, but is not what I wished.

    We are grateful for your insight. Right now we don’t have a feature to link glossary term to a jira ticket but your request will be transferred to our R&D team and we will reach out if we have any other questions or feedback.

    The issue that you've experienced on glossary 3.4.0 is related to database type problems. We have released a new version :Glossary 3.4.1 that would fix the letters duplication. So would you please proceed to upgrade, your feedback would be greatly appreciated in this regard.

    How does server app pricing work?

    Server products and apps are hosted on your servers. This app is sold as a perpetual license, and the purchase price includes 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

    You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your Atlassian product and app licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

    If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

    How do I determine my server pricing?

    Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. The app tier should match the licensed user tier of the Atlassian product. For example, if you have a Confluence license for 500 users, you should purchase the 500-user tier for apps. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Atlassian product license, the two licenses should match exactly.

    Can I install this app in a Data Center product?

    This app does not have a a Data Center approved version. Only apps meeting a set of performance requirements for large, clustered environments are approved for Data Center.

    However, while server apps are built for single-server deployments, many customers successfully install them in Data Center products. If you're using a Data Center product, Atlassian recommends you contact the vendor to determine compatibility at scale.

    Can I extend my free trial?

    For server apps, you can extend your app trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace.     How can I buy apps for my legacy Jira Server or Confluence Server license?

    Spectrum Groupe is excited to announce the new release of Glossary version 3.4.2, a Fix for Sql server & Oracle users:

    Bug Fix:

    • Highlight terms is not working
    • Letters duplication when accessing Glossary overview or Letter page.
    • Data loss after upgrading to 3.4.1.
    • Glossaries Global search is not working
    • When creating a new letter in glossary, it will be limited to 3 characters only

    Installation

    1. Log into your Confluence instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Atlassian Marketplace. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
    3. Click Find new apps or Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
    4. Locate Glossary via search. The appropriate app version appears in the search results.
    5. Click Try free to begin a new trial or Buy now to purchase a license for Glossary. You're prompted to log into MyAtlassian. Glossary begins to download.
    6. Enter your information and click Generate license when redirected to MyAtlassian.
    7. Click Apply license. If you're using an older version of UPM, you can copy and paste the license into your Confluence instance.
