IMPORTANT NOTE: Throughout the last years we have had the chance to develop HideElements as a free app. Due to significantly increased efforts, we have to switch to a paid model for the next major release which will be published in late 2019. Please contact us for details at atlassian@scandio.de

Ever wanted to hide some elements in Atlassian Confluence? Pages and blog posts in Confluence can often seem overloaded with buttons, meta-information, and comments. Sometimes you might just want a cleaner layout for certain pages. Using HideElements for Confluence, you can now hide different Confluence pages components. Disable and enable comments, likes, any buttons and other elements as you please. It's your page, so customize it! Check out our documentation for further information.

    These elements can be hidden:

    • Create button
    • Sidebar
    • Breadcrumb
    • Page title
    • Meta Information
    • Tool buttons on the top right (Edit, Share, etc.)
    • Likes

Perfect tool to inject css .hide commands in page. You don't have to reverse engineer pages etc, just put it in page. The support is great too, they reacted me in 2hrs and helped in a day. Fantastic!

Time for an update - we are using this app for over three years now and it's awesome how great it works! One of the most used apps in our system - hard to imagine how we would work without HideElements. Nothing you could not hide with this macro - here a maybe useful tip for people who would like to try css-selector :D If you want to hide just 'Create' Button and show '...' (create from template) use #quick-create-page-button in css-selector field - works perfect for me. So many great opportunitys! --------------------------------------------------- A great add-on which is totally easy to use. Makes it super easy to create clean pages!

Incredibly easy to use and worked perfectly. Hiding elements can make a really big difference to a beautiful experince. We used this macro on our homepage of confluence to make it look like an intranet and most "regular" pages had the typical confluence meta stuff.

Works like intended, and the bonus of having the custom css selector is really nice. Hopefully this add-on will remain free!
