    Note: This review is written after having tried the DEMO (which I would presume is a reasonable facsimile of what one would get if one were hosting this plugin one's own instance of Jira). I find that as a tool is useful, but is MISSING what would make ANY PLUGIN of this sort useful to actually help solve the sorts of people that someone who even looks for this plugin would be looking for. That is...>EXPORTING THIS Time in Status data<. The exporting feature ought to be a function of exporting what the plugin already presents within it's own working view, but outputting it to a file system format that can be reused, i.e. export the table's source data as already processed by your plugin to Excel! Because your plugin cannot do that most basic of functions, it effectively minimizes the utility of it's function to the most basic "list view only use". For those reasons I have to score this very low, in fact. Implement this as an exportable data table, and the utility of this plugin increases GREATLY.

    Currently when we generate the TIS report the search criteria is based on the created date. Can we search by resolved date instead of created date ?

    I was happy when I found Time In Status add-on, but there was few things I needed to see improved to make full use of its potential. It took >7 months to provide all the features/improvements i requested, but the end result is good. Thank you for delivering what I was asking; the plugin is now much more useful with those improvements.

    I am glad to hear that we could help you with our support.

    Our current support process gives highest priority to bugs on existing features. Anyone who gets an error or cannot use the product due to some mulfunction gets the highest priority. The target is to fix the product as soon as possible so customer can start using it as soon as possible. I believe we are pretty much successful with this target.

    On the other hand any improvement or new feature requests are escalated to product backlog and is reviewed by the development team in two weeks most of the time. The customer is informed about our first evaluation result, whether the intention about the request is positive or negative. If it is a clear reject, we do not want to give false hopes to the customer so say it up front. If it is positive, the item stays in the backlog and evaluated further.

    The important thing is, keeping the item in the backlog does not guarantee when or even if the feature is going to be implemented. Any new request, no matter how small it seems, gets into our existing development roadmap and might not be that easy to develop.

    Your improvement requests were also evaluated by the team and our first evaluation is positive. We informed you about that. We also believe, as you do, that those features would add value to our products. Nevertheless, due to existing plans and resource assignments we cannot start developing them today. We will keep them in the backlog and will try to put into our roadmap in the future.

    I am evaluating this plugin features, I have installed this. 1. It loading in IE but I could notice slowness (for each change of action its taking time to load the page) 2. If is click on Time is Status option, its keep on loading but no result. means not able to load the pages itself. can you please check on this..!

    I just started testing the add-on and it seems very useful. However there are some issues that I believe should be fixed: - Cannot export table to Excel - major problem - for some records Display Time is incorrect. Using Basic display I get 37512159 in column. Clicking Basic Display second time solves the problem and gives 1 d 1 h 27 m 8 s - minor problem Thank you for working on these issues

    Update 09 March 2018: We discovered that most of the time users face export file download problems is because browser pop-up blockers block the download of the file. With Time in Status 3.0, we changed how files are downloaded to work around the block. Please download and ty the latest version of Time in Status give it a try. Do not hesitate to contact our support team (plugin@obss.com.tr) if you have any problems.

    I am currently reviewing it. Still facing the issue where export to excel is working. No errors but excel version is not downloading. We are evaluating and in the process of buying with successful evaluation. With this issue we are not able to continue the evaluation. Please fix. our installed version is 2.7.1-504.

    I have tried many plugins to get a report of how much time a set of JIRA tasks (JIRA saved filter) spend in a particular status. This tool beat out all other tools for my use. As a QA manager, this tool helps me study time in status for JIRA tasks "waiting to be tested" as well as how much time tasks spend "in QA". One of the best option in this plugin is ability configure company specific business hours and holidays. Reports can still be generated based on business days or 24/7 time/days counting. The advanced option allows for selecting for saved JQL queries. Another great feature is, option to select only the status that need to be included in the report and unselect anything that is not needed. Export to Excel option is great as well. For me, the most useful sections are the "Hour Based Report" and the "Hour Based Average Report". Functionally, this plug works. However, it could use some speed improvements, better UI and layout.

    How does cloud app pricing work?

    Cloud apps are sold as a monthly or annual subscription. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

    When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for apps based on the number of users in your instance.

    If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

    How do I determine my cloud pricing?

    Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. Jira Cloud apps are priced based on the maximum users of the Jira products on your instance.     For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app.

    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Atlassian Marketplace. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
    3. Click Find new apps or Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
    4. Locate Time in Status via search. The appropriate app version appears in the search results.
    5. Click Try free to begin a new trial or Buy now to purchase a license for Time in Status. You're prompted to log into MyAtlassian. Time in Status begins to download.
    6. Enter your information and click Generate license when redirected to MyAtlassian.
    7. Click Apply license. If you're using an older version of UPM, you can copy and paste the license into your Jira instance.

    3. Locate Time in Status.
    4. Click Free trial to download and install your app.
    5. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
