A complete rip-off for a feature that should be present in zephyr. There documentation is hapless, there are insane restrictions. How this can be a paid add-on is beyond me. This is a complete ripoff. Shame that I cannot select 0 stars.

Installed plugin, unable to generate API keys. I go to configure ZAPI in Zephyr for JIRA Cloud and it keeps giving me the "Try it for free" image. Useless.

The ZAPI stopped working a few days ago and I was trying to reach out to get a solution. We are getting '500 Internal Server Error with error code 104'. So, I called the help number that on support site 'Mon - Fri 24hrs PST +1-510-400-8656' but no one attends the call. I also tried to create a support ticket. Since I am a new user, they are sending a verification email as a pre-requisite to creating a support ticket which I do not receive. So, ZAPI is not working for a few days now, no one is answering the call and not able to create a support ticket. The experience could have been better.

If you are introducing a separate product for your API's then at least make the json format in high quality. It's so hard to integrate it with our automation and CI/CD tools due to badly-formatted json objects. The API developers didn't think it through that they have keys that are dynamic and hard to capture.

This is the worst add-on ever. There is ZERO documentation and their support staff are clueless and unhelpful. They will send you in a circle of articles that you've already been given and don't answer any questions. Don't bother. Get a different add-on than Zephyr

I have added ZAPI plugin on Zephyr for JIRA free trial cloud instance. But I am unable to generate access key and secret key. I read in the above replies that I need to install one more plug-in i.e. REST API browser plugin within JIRA for ZAPI. But i cannot find this plugin in the search list. Kindly provide your support to mode ahead.

I really wanted for this to work. I really wanted to integrate with Jenkins. FINALLY, the jenkins plugin, 1.4, was released and I really had hoped I could have ZAPI and Zephyr and Jenkins working together. Alas, it is not to be. I wonder if I need to upgrade the Zephyr plugin in Jira Cloud, but there is no option to do that. So I just get: "An internal error occurred. Please check the host product's logs." from ZAPI and "Error Validating Zephyr for JIRA Cloud and ZAPI Cloud" from Jenkins. It is time to move on. There be too many dragons here.

    1. Setup and Integration with Jira went very smoothly. 2. Online ZAPI code ref was very helpful, to begin with integration. 3. Appreciate efforts from support Team to help in troubleshooting issue faced with integration. 4. Online API documentation helped in understanding API usage. Suggestions : 1. While integration, we faced Bad Request exception without actual reason of failure. If error response can include some information around specific would Help.

Does exactly what we needed (though I agree it should be bundled as part of the standard Z4J plugin): simple, well documented (on apiary) and fast. We use it for automatically logging results of our selenium tests (see frameworkium project on github if interested) as they're running, which allows us to get rolled up views of manual + automated test execution progress.

    Pricing FAQ

How does cloud app pricing work?

Cloud apps are sold as a monthly or annual subscription. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for apps based on the number of users in your instance.

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my cloud pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. Jira Cloud apps are priced based on the maximum users of the Jira products on your instance. For example, if you have Jira Software (50 users) and Jira Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, you pay the 50-user price for apps.

The pricing structure for cloud apps is as follows:

    • Monthly subscriptions with up to 10 Atlassian product users are billed at a flat rate price.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 10 users are billed per user, starting at the first user.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 100 users are billed per user. The table above provides example pricing at various user levels.

If you've opted for annual billing for your Atlassian product, apps are also billed annually at a discount (12 months for the price of 10).

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for cloud apps?

Academic, community and open source licenses are not available for cloud apps.

Can I extend my free trial?

For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app.

    Pricing FAQ

How does server app pricing work?

Server products and apps are hosted on your servers. This app is sold as a perpetual license, and the purchase price includes 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your Atlassian product and app licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. For Jira 7.0 or later, the app tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed Jira products on your instance. For example, if you're running Jira Software (500 users) and Jira Service Desk (25 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 500-user tier for apps. For versions of Jira prior to 7.0, the app tier should match the licensed user tier for Jira. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Jira license, the two licenses should match exactly.

Can I install this app in a Data Center product?

Yes, this app has a Data Center approved version. If you're using a Data Center product, you should install the Data Center version of the app.

What type of license do I need if I'm using this app in a Data Center product?

Because this app has a Data Center approved version, you should purchase a Data Center license for the app.

If you already own a server license for this app, you can continue using the server license in your Data Center product for a limited period of time.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for server apps?

For server apps, academic licenses are available at a 50% discount if you have an academic license for your Atlassian product.

Community and open-source licenses are available for server apps. Learn more about community and open source licenses.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server apps, you can extend your app trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the app listing in UPM from your Atlassian product, and you're all set.

How can I buy apps for my legacy Jira Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy Jira Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy app pricing is no longer available. You have two options for app purchasing:

    • Purchase the app at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your Jira or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the app at the same tier.
