    Excellent support! When we had really serious issue with JIRA after applying some workflow changes on production, folks from Configuration Manager analyzed logs and provided solution in less than one hour. It was really awesome. I wish to have such good Atlassian support like in case CM!

    Configuration Manager for JIRA is one of the few JIRA addons that is actually (and I know this doesn't makes sense) better than JIRA itself. Running an enterprise instance of JIRA w/o this addon is just plain crazy. You might as well ride a motorcycle without a helmet or drive a 70's Ford Pinto. The UI is great, the enhanced integrity checking is super useful... I just love and need this addon.

    We use JIRA for several business critical apps at our Enterprise. CMJ allows us to snapshot prod, put that in Dev, make changes in our Dev environment, and promote those changes through our Dev and Staging environments up to Production with ease and with confidence. Before CMJ we would manually apply those changes and hope for the best and hope that we didn't miss anything. CMJ is a huge win for us as JIRA admins and developers. Support has been fantastic so far. Pre-purchase, George gave us some pointers where we were getting a generic 500 error and pointed us to some Apache settings which was the culprit. Awesome product, awesome support. There's nothing else that comes close to the features of CMJ unless you build it yourself! So far so good!

    Due to a license renewal delay we were unable to move configurations between our two environments - basically rendering us helpless. Thankfully George was able to provide temporary licenses. Thank you George, you've saved us from having to delay pushing things out days or even weeks.

    We are currently in the process of migrating 4 separate instances onto our main corporate instance and as you can imagine, this is no small job. To complicate things, our tool of choice has not been cooperating, literally costing us weeks of troubleshooting to identify issues that should have been easily identified with the tool. After speaking with some counterparts, it was suggested that we use Configuration Manager. we contacted Botron Software and within 15 minutes, I was on the phone with Peter, who was actually in a conference, but made time for me. Then George had a trial license ready for me to use. Within an hour, we were able to move multiple projects, with issues, from one of our business units onto out corporate instance. Within a week, we had over 100 projects completed. Recently, we experienced one issue where a "no null" constraint error. Again, within minutes, we had a response and solution from George and we were back on track. I cannot say enough about the quality of service and performance of the tool. Keep up the great work!

    I recommend this plugin to every Jira admin and to customers who want their Jira project exported at the end of the project. We successfully merged two Jira instances this year and I am in the progress of doing it another time. Of course with CMJ. I love the functionality, simplicity and most of all that it doesn't depend on the standard Jira export/import mechanism with all its bugs and limitation (which are horrible btw). Thank you Botronsoft for providing a great plugin which makes migrating/moving Jira instances / projects much simpler.

    We have been using Configuration Manager for a critical JIRA consolidation project recently. Since the two instances were both actively being used, and were running on different versions of JIRA, CM was the only solution for us. On top of that, we've worked directly with Botron several times during this ongoing project and their service and response time was amazing.

    How does server app pricing work?

    Server products and apps are hosted on your servers. This app is sold as a perpetual license, and the purchase price includes 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

    You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your Atlassian product and app licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

    If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

    How do I determine my server pricing?

    Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. For Jira 7.0 or later, the app tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed Jira products on your instance. For example, if you're running Jira Software (500 users) and Jira Service Desk (25 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 500-user tier for apps. For versions of Jira prior to 7.0, the app tier should match the licensed user tier for Jira. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Jira license, the two licenses should match exactly. Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Desk, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for the license tier still apply.
