Bitbucket Backup Client

Latest version of Java and it doesn't work. Documentation is awful. Why even have a separate client for this anyway?

The documentation is scattered & disorganized. Many links that promise information all go to the same generic, top-level page. I remember using "trails" maybe in Java documentation, but I thought also in Jira? Anyway, that would be an excellent organizing tool. That said, the backup client works well (for Bitbucket Server) and only results in a few seconds of outage (we only have 25 users) Also it is unclear if I need to separately backup my psql database, probably not, but I am still investigating...

No issues with the installation or running of the App once the correct version of Java was available. Have tried backup, but not restore. The only thing I don't like is the handling of passwords which have to be in the open (either within your backup job on the command line or in the config file). Would be better if there was a limited access 'backup' user that could only have read permissions to Bitbucket, and wasn't a logon user.

Unintelligible instructions. Why isn't backing up an integral part of the system? It's not exactly a new idea.

Bitbucket Server should have backup and restore functionality built in. Look at how Jfrog Artifactory does it with a psuedo cron job setup for multiple types of backups. This external program business is totally amateur hour. One star bbecause it exists and seems to work within its limitations.
