TestFLO - Test Management for Jira

Hi there! I've worked on TestFLO for the last few years and now as a former PO of this app, I can share a few honest thoughts with the community. First and foremost, I think that it's the most underrated test management add-on to the Marketplace. It's so versatile, that it can be set up to work flawlessly with small projects but also the ones of enterprise-level. It's great that you can customize many elements and even reuse them for non-testing purposes (like fields, workflow features, PFR panels etc.). However, this flexibility has its price. TestFLO may seem overwhelming at first glance as it's really feature-rich and one may feel lost when onboarding. You have to give yourself a bit more time to explore and get to know the solution better to understand its full potential. Another great thing is close integration with Jira which in many cases lets you combine Jira-native features or other addons with TestFLO. Last but definitely not least - you have to know that there's a crew of dedicated professionals behind this app. Both in terms of development and support.   Thank you for all the great work you did on this app during your work for Deviniti, and thank you for sharing your thoughts.

  Flexibility to support any test management process was and still is the core value that drives TestFLO development. Some people find the onboarding taking a while. In contrast, others claim that "The product was easy to install, configure, and get up and running producing value.", as in the review written by Alexandrea for the Data Center version on 2020-06-02. We think the opinion depends on the complexity of the users' needs, and the amount of their prior experience with Jira. We will be investing in improving the onboarding experience to allow everybody, regardless of their experience, to see the value that TestFLO already brings to the table for over 500 companies worldwide.

Our Atlassian certified experts can and do help our customers improve their processes, including test management, and implement them in the Atlassian stack, including TestFLO.

I agree that there are lot of ways of customize, and I know how to do it, the thing is that, once you customize some things as the test plan ot cases workflows, then other features stops working. This is because I said that it is a good product, but needs to be improved. Lots of issues are raising during the use in my company, now i cannot configure testflo for new projects until next version is distributed and the bug is fixed.

  There are a lot ways to customize TestFLO according to one's requirements. You can always contact our support if you need help in setting up TestFLO, or want to request a new feature. We will be more than happy to help you. As for reporting in TestFLO, you can use Jira native features to achieve this goal. However we are aware how important reporting is and therefore we have new dedicated reports planned in our roadmap. Stay tuned!
