Great idea... is there a possibility now to create rules using custom JQL? For example, I would like to check bugs detected and fixed after each regression.

You can use JQL only in badges. But We take note about this possibility for a future versions.

I would like to be able to add rules - for instance I would like different points to be accumulated for different issue types, not just when any issue is created. Any plans for that?

I love the idea and the logic of the "game" :) however I miss the option to add new rules (how about JQL or custom rules as well?) and also miss to be able to set up more themes
