This app is severily outdated and has critical security issues (e.g., exposing passwords clear-text in the logs). Also the maintainers on Github seem to not be maintaing the code base anymore (last commit was 3 years ago, important PRs are open for multiple years, etc.) Therefore, I suggest to not further to use this app if you care about security.

We've been trialling this addon on and off for a while now. It always comes back to big no-go of requiring username/password for authentication to CodeCommit. We already run our BB Datacenter in AWS (and only want to mirror to CodeCommit due the ongoing lack of better integration between BB Server/Datacenter and AWS CodePipeline). What we would really, really wish for is the ability to leave user/pass empty and allow for role-based IAM authentication so we can simply attach an instance profile to our BB server.
