Hi Tracy,
We are working on a financial add-on for Tempo cloud and we are using this opportunity to rethink how we approach financials in Tempo, which means the features may not be exactly the same as they are now in our add-ons for Jira Server. Our goal is to solve some of the same use cases as our Server add-ons, but also to better align financial features with our time tracking and planning features.
This is an iterative process which will take some time. If you are interested in participating in a closed beta program, please apply here.
Kind regards,

Hi Larry,
We are working on a financial add-on for Tempo cloud, with the goal of introducing the first version later this year. I'm afraid that I can't be more precise about the timeline. Please find some more details in the response to Marc's review.

Hi Tural,
Thank you for your feedback!
I am very sorry to hear that you do not like the simplified overview screens we introduced in version 11. Please note though that the original overviews *are still available* as the Steering Committee Report: it is in all respects identical to what it was originally.
Given other users feedback, the original overview screens seemed to have reached a level of complexity that was too high, making them hard to understand, especially for new users. We felt that while they were still extremely valuable as reports, they were not truly overviews anymore.
Please note also that while the new overviews are much simpler to grasp, most of the data from the original overviews is still there! The main difference being that the data is presented differently, through bar charts and other graphical widgets rather than in a tabular fashion.
I would be extremely interested to learn more about the specific pieces of information you find missing in the new overviews and that you would like to see restored. We take user feedback extremely seriously as we strive to make Tempo Budgets great for all our customers, old and new. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly (jc (dot) huet (at) tempo (dot) io) to take this conversation further.
Kind regards,
JC

Hi Amy,
Thank you for reaching out to Tempo and giving us your review.
I understand that these are not decisions to be made lightly and therefore one of our Customer success manager would like to contact you to discuss your options and discuss what progress we have made in developing a financial add on for Jira Cloud.
As for a Utiliazation report, it is not available on Cloud, that is correct but it is a part of of the many things we would like to bring our customers at some point in the future.
In the meantime on Cloud we do offer Team capacity report, Planned time report along with the regular Timesheet reports and in the near future for our Planner and Timesheet customer, we will offer a Planned vs Actuals report.
Best regards,
Hildur

Hello Quentin,
Thanks for reaching out to us about Tempo Budgets. We are excited to announce that we have started working on a product called Tempo Cost Tracker that will provide time and cost tracking of your projects in Jira Cloud. This product will help project managers and financial specialists looking to better understand the cost and budgeting aspects of their projects.
The first release of this product will be an app that extends the functionality of Tempo Timesheets on Jira Cloud and lets users create projects, set a project scope from a Jira filter, configure employee cost rates and track the costs against a budget over time. We will be releasing this new app later this year.
In the next few months, we’ll be making an early version of Tempo Cost Tracker available to testers. We’d love your help being one of the first to try out this product! If you are interested in participating in the initial testing, please let us know by signing up here, and we’ll be reaching out to you in the coming months.
Best regards,

Pricing FAQ
- How does server app pricing work?
Server products and apps are hosted on your servers. This app is sold as a perpetual license, and the purchase price includes 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).
You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your Atlassian product and app licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).
If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.
- How do I determine my server pricing?
Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. For Jira 7.0 or later, the app tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed Jira products on your instance. For example, if you're running Jira Software (500 users) and Jira Service Management (25 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 500-user tier for apps. For versions of Jira prior to 7.0, the app tier should match the licensed user tier for Jira. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Jira license, the two licenses should match exactly. Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Management, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for the license tier still apply.
- Can I install this app in a Data Center product?
Yes, this app has a Data Center approved version. If you're using a Data Center product, you should install the Data Center version of the app.
- What type of license do I need if I'm using this app in a Data Center product?
Because this app has a Data Center approved version, you should purchase a Data Center license for the app.
If you already own a server license for this app, you can continue using the server license in your Data Center product for a limited period of time.
- Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for server apps?
For server apps, academic licenses are available at a 50% discount if you have an academic license for your Atlassian product.
Community and open-source licenses are available for server apps. Learn more about community and open source licenses.
- Can I extend my free trial?
For server apps, you can extend your app trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the app listing in UPM from your Atlassian product, and you're all set.
- How can I buy apps for my legacy Jira Server or Confluence Server license?
If you own a legacy Jira Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy app pricing is no longer available. You have two options for app purchasing:
- Purchase the app at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
- Renew your Jira or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the app at the same tier.
