Project Configurator for Jira

We used this app extensively to migrate our projects from 1 Jira instance to another. We faced many issues, because other apps misbehaved. But with the help from support and some database hacking we succeeded in getting this done. Without the Project Configurator, this migration would have been impossible.

Great tool! Been great with our project migrations, can't wait to use it for our configuration migrations. Also great support team. Azmir Zan (Ahmad Azmir) from the support team is the real MVP 🐱‍👤😎🐱‍👓 when it comes to troubleshooting.

We've been using Project Configurator for quite a while to export/import JIRA projects from production to the development instance. It's a great product, offers a lot of flexibility and is easy to use. Lately, we encountered and issue with one of our projects and support has been reallly helpfull, specially Sravya Chintalapudi, one of their support engineer, who help us sorting out the issues and proceed to complete the importation to our satisfaction. Sravya offered very good support with clear steps in the resolution of our situation. The references to documentation was appreciated and pertinent.

Additionally, can plugin bring in options to include choose - open issues or closed issues. This helps massively to save time. We have some projects around 20-25k issues and we really keen on open issues - it will be really useful, we don't bring users and groups. Although I get options like invalid users and ignore users and groups, but it does bring massive data.

  Unfortunately, this app does not include the option to choose which issues to export. If you need this functionality, I recommend checking out Configuration Manager for Jira, another Appfire app which does enable you to filter issues out during snapshot creation.

  Regarding your interest in excluding users and groups from the export, the three export options are Full Export, Ignore Invalid Users/Groups, and Do Not Export.

Will this also copies isssues from one instance to another along with complete data(workflows and screens)?
