    More details

Whereas hierarchical calculations are immutable in other apps (i.e: the progress of an Epic is always the same at a given time), it allows the users to decide what parts are relevant at the moment and focuses calculations and tracking on them only. A lot of filters are supported on hierarchies. Hence, users can explore and calculate complexity according to their needs. In addition, hierarchies are re-arranged and recalculated from the current issue perspective.

Hierarchies can be loaded into a full-featured pivot table while dependencies are displayed to provide valuable visual information with unparalleled power and flexibility for reporting & analytics of hierarchies.

The app reads and organizes issues on views automatically without modifying Jira data. It does not require any configuration either, and the users' learning curve is nonexistent being productive from the first instant while working with outstanding graphics and drag&drop.

Exporting to Excel features are also unrivaled.

    More details

Links Hierarchy is the definitive app for the Enterprise to track Agile progress at scale.

It provides a comprehensive set of views to explore, track, report, and analyze issues and all their dependencies to get the most value of the data and help organizations to embrace the Atlassian's view of Agile by improving collaboration in a natural way and giving a full unified context instead of providing its own vendor's proprietary solution.

It brings unique features to Jira like re-arranging hierarchies from the current issue perspective and support for filtering large structures of data to put the focus on the relevant parts only without crushing the Jira's performance.

The exporting capabilities to Excel are unrivaled for beyond.

It is ranked as the 3rd top-selling app on the Marketplace to track Agile progress at scale and runs smoothly on the hugest Data Centers.

No other app is comparable. It is really unique and brings creativeness to analyze dependencies not seen before.

I'm not sure if anyone experiences the same problem but exporting hierarchical data to Excel via *issue in linkshierarchy("issue key","depth")* yields a different data set than exporting the (supposedly) same from the ticket view itself (export to JQL -> Export to Excel). Also exporting to excel directly from the add-on window in the ticket view literally never works yielding an error 404. I'm using the most up-to-date version. I've reported this issue last week and haven't received any feedback?

It might be caused because by a lot of reasons: the hierarchy has different depth levels or some filter has been applied on it when it is displayed from the issue view and not when it is displayed from the Issue Navigator.

Is there same add-on to links hierarchy for confluence + JIRA? we have documentation in the confluence which contents the links (because of dependencies) to another docs in confluence and at the end all of them have a links to JIRA (Tasks, Bugs, etc) I would like to have whole hierarchy visible as a tree of links. What add-on should I use? Thank you.

All the views (tree, network, and matrix) can be added to Jira Dashboards and Confluence pages via the built-in gadgets.

    Hope this helps.

This is a nice add-on! We are using Portfolio and just updated to 2.1.2 version where the "Parent Link" field is now available in the JQL and screens. Is there a plan to include this link type in the future if its not already?

Hi, one of our customers ask for a function: "embeded a Traceability Matrix Report in confluence". It graps dynamic data from Jira to show a chart in Confluence. That is cool! Is it possible? Thanks.

I've been using this add-on ever since it first emerged. It has evolved and emerged as an absolutely fantastic must have add-on for virtually any kind of Jira use. Most people are too dazzled by the lovely graphic to explore more deeply and find all the other really fantastic stuff that has been built in such as the excel export reports with rolled up progress reports and the added JQL functions. And the Support has been great as well. When I encountered a rather critical bug in an update that affected users with Oracle db's, they had it fixed and a new patched version uploaded within about an hour of my submitting the report. I've used this with Jira server instances that I administer which range in size from a couple thousand users to more than 20,000 users. Great add-on; highly recommended.

We use Links Hierarchy for huge Data Center instances and it works great. Lots of our customers were happily suprised when there was suddenly a way to visualize the link hieararchies.

Very good tool when used for basic or simple structures. Sadly GUI and JQL queries have some minor to relevant flaws or "unexpected" design which doesn't allow usage for (very) complex structures. However, in case you want to visualize and follow up a few things, this plug-in is really good. Just do not expect this tool to help you "control" multi-project setups on a "spot on / flawless" level.

Thanks for the review. We have worked hard to fix a lot of issues, improve performance and add new features.

Links Hierarchy is not intended to be your primary planning tool, that I guess is what you are looking for.

We claim you have to use the Atlassian's Agile tools for that.

Then you will discover that you need our app to accomplish with the enterprise project portfolio management (PPM) goal as described by Atlassian and to deal with a lot of scenarios that even the most accurate implementations are not able to do gracefully.

In the beginning, in an idealistic view of your procedures and tools, you do not need our app. After, in the real world, you will appreciate a lot of the benefits that Links Hierarchy brings to your organization's daily work.

The plugin is easy to use and so far haven't hit any big issue or impact the performance. The support is very professional, deep knowledge in JIRA and can solve the issue(correlated to another add-on) very fast.

This plug-in is very helpful to navigate between the connections levels done in Jira, and also to work with the Matrix View. However, it is limited. If you want to see the Issues in a table, the names of the issues are not completely shown, so you need to guess which issue is that with ~20characters. And I don't know if this is configurable. I tried to reach support two weeks ago. No answer so far. But being fair, my company's email might have blocked them.

    Hi Victor,

Please, review your email configuration or your spam folder as it looks you are not receiving emails from the "atlassian.net" domain where our public support Jira Cloud instance is hosted.

We have received your three issues:

    * SUP-132

    * SUP-137

    * SUP-141

and we have answered all of them before 24 hours.

    Best regards,

    Pricing FAQ

How does cloud app pricing work?

Cloud apps are sold as a monthly or annual subscription. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for apps based on the number of users in your instance.

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my cloud pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. Jira Cloud apps are priced based on the maximum users of the Jira products on your instance. For example, if you have Jira Software (50 users) and Jira Service Management (10 agents) on the same instance, you pay the 50-user price for apps.Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Management, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for licensing across maximum users still apply.

The pricing structure for cloud apps is as follows:

    • Monthly subscriptions with up to 10 Atlassian product users are billed at a flat rate price.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 10 users are billed per user, starting at the first user.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 100 users are billed per user. The table above provides example pricing at various user levels.

Annual subscriptions may offer a discount depending on the number of users purchased.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for cloud apps?

Yes. Academic, community, and open source licenses are available to qualifying organizations. See our Purchasing & Licensing FAQ for more information.

Can I extend my free trial?

For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app.

    Pricing FAQ

How does server app pricing work?

Server products and apps are hosted on your servers. This app is sold as a perpetual license, and the purchase price includes 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your Atlassian product and app licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. For Jira 7.0 or later, the app tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed Jira products on your instance. For example, if you're running Jira Software (500 users) and Jira Service Management (25 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 500-user tier for apps. For versions of Jira prior to 7.0, the app tier should match the licensed user tier for Jira. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Jira license, the two licenses should match exactly. Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Management, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for the license tier still apply.

Community and open-source licenses are available for server apps. Learn more about community and open source licenses.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server apps, you can extend your app trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the app listing in UPM from your Atlassian product, and you're all set.

How can I buy apps for my legacy Jira Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy Jira Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy app pricing is no longer available. You have two options for app purchasing:

    • Purchase the app at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your Jira or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the app at the same tier.
