    I was hoping to be able to add attributes to a user so that I could pay various vendors via automated reports generated off of logged work and custom fields associated with a user (not an issue/project)

    I wanted to use this plugin to create custom fields: project due date, project status fields and report on them along with other builtin Jira fields but it doesn't work that way. I am very disappointed.

    For transparency, we don't use the plugin, but we do consult on its use as its such an amazing tool. I have had to use their support portal a couple of times now, each time they have been very helpful, providing me with scripts to solve problems. Keep up the good work :)

    Great plugin to organise your project information, allowed us to get rid of multiple spreadsheets containing information for over four hundred projects and store all that information directly with the corresponding projects. Support is also great, found a small bug a while ago which quickly got fixed after I sent in a bug report. Recently we needed a script to automatically combine data from multiple fields and after sending in a support ticket we quickly got a response and a few hours later they gave us a fully working script.

    Profields from Deiser is a great app to manage multiple projects in Jira and to enhance the Jira functionality for many use cases. With profields an essential gap in the standard Jira application gets filled. It helped us not only for (multi-) project management but also added value to our Jira workflows (processes). It allows us to store and work with information on Jira projects at the place where it belongs but which isn't available in the standard Jira application. We could get rid of workarounds where we used for example project components for storing such information or, even worse, hard coded it in the workflow scripts. As always, there are minor issues which could be better, e.g. the configuration of the view of a profields project page with all the fields displayed. But those get improved step-by-step with each release. And also new features are coming in regularly which make the app even better. Finally, the support and customer service is just awesome. Very fast and helpful responses from the support team if there are problems with the app (which isn't the case very often). All in all: great app, perfect support, thumbs up for Deiser and Profields!

    I think Deiser is a promising company with the good products and its good customer service. I notice that Profield is integrating with many other popular add-ons actively.     Works great so far. I wish E Time Spent worked accurately as a required field. It looks like that's been a big complaint for quite some time now. I can't find documentation on how to add a Profield Schemes as a default so that all newly created Projects have the Profields added automatically without requiring to go into a different screen to add it to your project. I would prefer that my users don't know where to do this so that they can't try to change a fields or requirement.

    Do I understand correctly that these fields need to have pre-defined values in the project configuration's "Project Fields" page for them to be visible in project screens?

    Hello Deney, indeed, it's up to the Project Administrator to set the values for the fields. Those values will be visible only on the project they've been set. Although some projects are sharing the same layout, the field values apply per project.
