Simple poll plugin that allows users to vote for multiple items
Simple poll plugin that allows users to vote for multiple items
Simple poll plugin that allows users to vote for multiple items
Vote for multiple entries, e.g. suggestions for a date of an event (poor man's doodle), what to order for lunch, talks you are interested in...
Voters are shown in a mouse-over as a default, but can also be shown in an extra column.
The interface is a standard Confluence Table, so you can freely configure what the poll should look like.
More details
This add-on provides a feature that the popular Vote Macro does not have - it lets users vote for several options in a poll (think checkboxes instead of radio buttons). The number of votes available to a user can be limited if need be.

Hi Hsu,
at the moment, I cannot think of a way to include this functionality into multivote. It seems like a good idea for a new plugin though. Maybe the "like" functionality of the add-on could help as well?
Regards
Marion

Hi Michael,
each vote is tied to a user to ensure nobody votes twice. Therefore, anonymous voting is not possible.
Regards
Marion

The vote has never been anonymous - the voters where always displayed on mouse-over of the voter column. If you really need this to be configurable, please vote for https://tngtech-oss.atlassian.net/browse/MV-2. You are of course also free to pay somebody (e.g. us) to implement that functionality right away.
If you don't like the "show voters" button, please downgrade to version 1.2.2.

Hello Mihai,
sorry to hear that you have problems using Multivote. Do all of the rows have unique Ids in the first column? See also: https://tngtech-oss.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/MV/pages/6750256/Usage
It there is still problem can you open a bug with screenshots in our issuetracker: https://tngtech-oss.atlassian.net/projects/MV/
Best regards
Christian

Hi Karanpreet,
we didn't test the Add-on for Data Center explicitly and we don't provide support for it, however this doesn't mean that there are problems with Data Center. If you want you can install the Add-On in a test instance a see if it works for you, before using it productively.
Best regards
Christian

Hi Vijayakumar,
Thanks for your kind words.
Currently it is not possible to have anonymous voting. The feature has been requested a few times, but so far no one in the community was eager enough to come up with an implementation an put in a pull request. You may keep an eye on
MV-58 to see if anything changes there.
