The only way to edit sources easily. Should be standard!

This should be included in confluence core. Formatting ALWAYS breaks when I edit pages, and this helps me fix it.

Copy/paste directly out of the Edit pane rarely works for the type of advanced formatting I use within my spaces or in collaboration with other teams (possibly running in different Confluence server instances), but source editor alleviates all of those most migration headaches by retaining everything (except the page-specific attachments). Yes there is a use case for this that copying/cloning won't suffice otherwise.

Not supported by Atlassian and no data center compatibility. This plugin has a ton of game breaking bugs for us, we've upvoted and commented on the issues trying to hope that Atlassian would fix them and they have not. For example, SOURCE-106 (https://jira.atlassian.com/projects/SOURCE/issues/SOURCE-106) has been open since 2014 and there hasn't been one peep from Atlassian on fixing it. There are a ton of other bugs like this. We ended up switching to Mohamicorp's version (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.mohamicorp.html.source.editor.for.confluence/server/overview) which is this plugin with some added features and FIXES for these bugs! We're willing to pay for this plugin if it means support.

Documentation link is dead. Data Center verification needed. Very handy otherwise. -1 star due to above issues.

2.0 does not work on server 6.6.15. <> UI element is missing, either when enabled for all users, or when user is in an allowed group. Had to revert to 1.1.3. No path to report bug.

Can you please explain how this Project is now showing as Archived in your Jira? Is the plan to remove this out of an Atlassian Labs product and add it to a supported product? I really wish we didn't need to use this product and that this functionality was either built into Confluence or that the Confluence Editor was good enough that we didn't need to have it, but I haven't seen a version of Confluence that doesn't need this available to Admins, at least. ...and I agree with TtheB and feel you should have used fixed SOURCE-733 by updating the CodeMirror JavaScript library to be comparable with all the other plugins that are now incompatible because they have updated their library in a timely manner... Thanks! Rick

You updated the source editor for the first time in almost 4 years and didn't include https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/SOURCE-733 in your release?

As others have pointed out this add-on is full of bugs and seems unfinished. On several pages it only shows partial content which I believe is due to different types of macros and controls within the page. This should really be a core feature within Confluence and Atlassian really drops the ball here.

Buggy. Only displays 21 lines. Find does not do anything meaningful. No scrollbar. Would prefer if basic functionality was reliable instead of having duplicated features like find.
