minor bug fixes
Fixed bug which affected Agile board in Jira 6.4
Fixed an issue where turning off avatars in Jira could stop notifications being delivered to Hipchat
Adds Jira issue metadata to messages
Notable bugfix is an issue affecting customers using Oracle database for Jira: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/HCPUB-915
Jira notifications are now showing as Cards in Hipchat, with a more compact (and expandable) format, so you can better see what's important, at a glance.
We also fixed a few bugs, improved the performance of the plugin, and simplified warning messages for users in a few places.
* Deprecated Hipchat v1 resource
* Showing issue preview in Cards
* Fixing issue mentions for 6.2
* Fixed problem with System Administrators not being able to go to the administration page
* Fixed a fail load resource in the console
Administrators can now set the integration to notify users of incoming messages to a room. Depending on their personal settings, users will be informed of new messages through Hipchat notifications (changing the tab color, playing a sound, and bouncing icons).
It's good to see issue dedicated rooms being put to good use! We use them internally to bring everyone together when resolving an incident, and it looks like many of you do just the same.
We've now added the ability for you to choose who should be invited to discuss the issue when creating a dedicated room from a Jira issue.
And we've fixed a few bugs as well.
* Fixed the status lozenge for instances with nginx
* Added hipchat protocol to open urls directly in Hipchat
* Removed autoconvert advertising from rooms if connection is limited.
You've asked for a way to be notified when Jira issues are assigned/unassigned, and/or when people leave comments on issues. We heard you, worked on it and (boom), these are now events you can subscribe to.
Some of you also wanted to receive a client side notification for any message sent by Jira to a room, to make sure you don't miss anything important (this was supported by the older version of the integration). We've just added this as an option, enjoy!
Last but not least, the Hipchat integration configuration screen now tells you if the connectivity between Jira and Hipchat is all good, or if you're missing out on a few awesome features (for example if Jira is behind a firewall, not addressable by Hipchat).
And we might have sneaked in a few bug fixes in there too.
Thanks for all the great feedback we've received over the past few weeks. The team is stoked to see this plugin being so successful, keep the comments flowing! What this version contains:
